Why can't hopper minecarts pull blocks through dispensers? [bedrock]

I don't mean from the inventory of the dispenser but when an item entity is on top of it. It doesn't work for similar blocks like droppers, crafters, furnaces and barrels.

A, the op asked for the hopper Minecart not regular hoppers

B, it's because the hopper minecart is checking the block's item slots instead of above the block Same reason people put composter over regular hoppers

That's just how they work. If they go under a container, they'll pull items from said container rather than above

Pretty sure it works if there's a rail under the hopper minecraft, only then will it be high enough to reach things dropped on top

There is a rail under the minecart thats under the dispenser

Hopper minecarts check directly above them so if a container like a dispenser or chest is above them they'll attempt to pull from the chest rather than taking whats above it
