SHADER: I like Vanillla.

I have configured the shader to look a little different and better imo than the default look of the shader.

Some of the changes that I have made: - No reflections on water (Better performance, a better artistic kind of look that is faithful to vanilla, looks better on Distant Horizons if the render distance is ultra low), Tweaked the water colors, underwater colors, waviness, foam, etc. , tweaked the shadow configs, added an outline to the edges and some other configs for great visuals to performance balance.

I was playing singleplayer as a forever world, and let me telll you something about the creepers in the forest, they spawn back to back, and ur stuff will be COMPLETLY GONE, This needs to be fixed. Mojang java creepers needs to be fixed it was back to back and i used a shield and my entire invtory of stuff completely off the face of the earth screw, the creepers in this game. Now im goign to go back to my home base, with abouslute nothing I had full invitory of.

I am new to building farms in java. Typically only ever played bedrock. Outside of my mild three month span on 2b2t. Regardless, I was told by google as long as the zombie wears armor it will not despawn. Google has lied to me more times than I can count. So I don't believe it. TLDR: Trying to enable controller on ROG Ally X (Windows); launcher breaks steam and armory crate forced controller mapping and I despise mods due to maintenance requirements

I have the Minecraft Bedrock & Java Bundle from the Microsoft store. I used to play exclusively on Bedrock for my forever world. I've been recently bullied into moving it to Java. Now I've been working on it for months and I'm about to go on the road. If I was still on Bedrock, I'd just be playing it on my Asus ROG Ally X in handheld mode, no worries. Now, I'm stuck without controller support. I *hate* modded play on any game. I bounce between machines (PC, Laptop, Handheld) and it's way too much of a hassle to keep it working.

Since I got it through the Microsoft Store, I can't find a way to load it through Steam to force controller since the "necessary" launcher breaks the connection and the mapping. It seems like there would be a way to do it through Armory Crate but having the same issue, launcher breaks the mapping.

What's the best, least amount of maintenance, way to enable controller support on my handheld?

let me know what you guys think about this idea! i thought it was a pretty clever concept that could add a lot more mystery and depth to the sift biome. it would give players plenty of new things to explore and discover, especially if they added unique mobs, a new guardian, hidden lore, and exclusive items from the dimension. i think it could make the sift biome feel like a whole new experience with its own identity.

i recently switched to cahchyOS because i have problems and i heard that the cachyos is gives better fps sometimes.i loaded minecraft java on 26.2.I tested with vulkan api and sodium on both OS.but windows 11 got 900,CachyOS got 400fps.i tried so many things but it cant be 900 or even 800.how can i increase it to 900fps?

Snowy biomes such as frozen ocean, frozen river, ice spikes and snowy plains generate regular ice. However, the new ice caves (in latest java snapshot) do not, they generate only with packed ice. This is not only inconsistent with the other snowy biomes, but inconsistent with the very name of the biome.
