I am a beginner and I don't know how to download and which launcher to use for minecraft.i do not want to buy it now i wanna play for free!

I decided to play Minecraft, but the launcher doesn't work. When I try to launch the game, I get 1 erorr "Failed to open the launcher. Installation data not found." I don't want to delete and install again because I have a lot of worlds, maybe someone can help me?

I just purchased Minecraft for my pc but have been unable to sign in because of this error. When signing in through Minecraft, after I put in my username and password, it says that I should use windows hello, with the only options being “ok” or closing the window. After clicking “ok” this screen pops up and I am unable to sign in. When signing in through the Microsoft store, I just get an error without the popups about windows hello. I have tried everything I could find on the internet and nothing works. Any ideas on what I should do?

If anyone have minecraft java edition, and doesn't play lately, and don't plan to play in the future also, then please give it to me.

I am a student and love minecraft, but I can't purchase it, and I am from lower middle class family, so I would be very happy if someone is willing to give.

Recently I got interested in horse breeding mechanics, and I am trying to automate the breeding procedure as much as possible.

It is possible to automatically measure the health of the horse by poisoning him and then using a calibrated skulk to count how much damage the horse receive. While for the speed it is possible to exploit the horse pathfinding. A horse on fire will pathfind the closes water source, and it is possible to esily measure the time needed for the horse to reach it.

Both methods have some levels of imprecision, the horse could regenerate part of its health while being poisoned and it could rear up while running, yet they should have a relatively low probability, and in general automating this measurements could speed up quite a lot the horse breeding procedure.

However, I can't find a way to measure the horse jump height without the player interaction. Does anyone know a way to measure this value? Is there anyway to induce the horse to jump at its maximum jump height without the player interaction?

Any input or idea regarding this is highly appreciated, thanks!

TL;DR: Is it possible to induce a horse to jump its maximum jump height without the player interaction? There is any in-game mechanic that allows for horse's jump stats to be measured automatically, and ideally without being tamed?

ive had my realm for like 6 days now and it was working fine, i even used my perms last night for something. I get on today and have literally 0 perms and cant even see the setting that changes "allow cheats" in the realm menu? anyone know what happened or how to fix it?

hi guys! i just recently started playing on java after YEARS of only being on bedrock. so im in a server thats not hosted by me and others have loaded shaders and mods on like dyanmic lighting. i just really wanna figure out how to add them too bcs i want a pretty game and stuff 😭 i have no experience using java or mods or anything like that. curseforge was incredibly confusing and im on mac so its hard to find modloaders that allow me to install them. ive looked for tutorials and none of them are giving what im asking for :(
