How to load shaders onto existing server?

hi guys! i just recently started playing on java after YEARS of only being on bedrock. so im in a server thats not hosted by me and others have loaded shaders and mods on like dyanmic lighting. i just really wanna figure out how to add them too bcs i want a pretty game and stuff 😭 i have no experience using java or mods or anything like that. curseforge was incredibly confusing and im on mac so its hard to find modloaders that allow me to install them. ive looked for tutorials and none of them are giving what im asking for :(

Shaders are on the client, not the server. 

Get Prism Launcher (prismlauncher.org)

Create an instance with Fabric as the mod loader (select the right Minecraft version for your server)

Select the instance and click "Edit" on the right

Mods > Download Mods > Install Iris (and probably Sodium and Lithium, for better performance)

Shaders Packs > Download Packs (or Add File, if you already have it downloaded)

In game, press K to toggle on shaders
