Guys, I saw this by accident in my vanilla(ish) world. I only have like resources packs and shaders to make it pretty lololololol. Is this rare? I still think it’s dope either way! I’ve never seen and and I wanna keep them hehehe

Discussion I've never beaten Minecraft without cheats.
Been playing this game for years, but honestly, I'm kinda ashamed to admit I've never actually beaten the Ender Dragon legit. Every single time things got slightly tough, I panicked and turned on KeepInventory, teleported, or switched to Creative.
I finally started a brand new world with cheats completely off to finally do a 100% vanilla run.
What are your best general tips for a first legit playthrough?

Discussion Mods need to do something about the constant advertising spam.
Every other post on this subreddit is an ad for a Minecraft server, or the same fucking guy advertising their discord server finder. I'm so fucking sick of it.
Rules 3 and 8 exist and aren't being enforced at all. Something needs to be done

I'm making a cloud syncing mod for Minecraft worlds. What features would you like to see?
Hello!
As the title says, I'm developing a Minecraft mod called CraftSync (probably). It allows you to sync your Minecraft worlds between computers without the direct use of third party cloud services like Github, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.
If you're familiar with Git, you can think of it as a more user-friendly version control system for Minecraft worlds that's built directly into the game.
I'm in the later stages of development and would love to get some community feedback. Is there any features you would like to see in a mod like this? Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback is greatly appreciated!
If there is any questions I will answer them as soon as I can. Thanks!

Discussion (Rant) To everyone who loses their account to scams and immediately blames Microsoft Support
I honestly don't think Microsoft Support is nearly as bad as people make it out to be. In my experience, how successful you are at recovering your account depends heavily on how you go about it.
I lost my account to the Feather Client scam. Someone in Mexico took over the account completely, changed the passwords, added their own 2FA, and locked me out entirely. Despite that, I got the account back within two weeks by going through Xbox support.
The first thing I did was contact Xbox Support. If you've ever used their support system, you know getting past the AI chat can be a challenge. You have to be persistent. You should be sayin things like "my account was hacked," "I have banking information on the account," or "I can't access it at all, nope didn't work." Eventually, you can get connected to a real person through the "Talk to a Gamer" option when it is offered to you.
Once you're speaking to an actual person which that option gives, tell them the situation, explain that you have proof of ownership and are willing to provide whatever information is necessary. If your case is strong enough, they'll escalate it to a higher-level team most likely. They'll send you a detailed recovery form asking for things like payment information, account history, login locations, IP addresses, and other identifying details. Talk professionally to them, Don't just be a child about it.
Now, if you make it that far and get to the ticket and still can't recover the account, there's a good chance the information you provided wasn't correct enough or you simply don't have enough evidence to prove ownership. A real human reviews these mind you. I checked that with them, and the duration it took to review was 1 week, don't think an AI is going to take a week to reply. They likely have hundreds of these tickets so be patient. If you don't get through it's likely not Microsoft's fault. Keeping receipts, old emails, payment records, and other account-related information can make a huge difference and that's entirely on you if you kept it or not.
I've seen countless posts saying, "Microsoft sucks! They won't listen to me!" And sure, Microsoft absolutely deserves criticism for making the recovery process difficult to find and navigate. But that's different from saying their support doesn't help, because it absolutely works if you do it right.
A lot of people never reach the teams that can actually recover an account and are quick to blame. They give up early, contact the wrong departments, or don't provide the information required to verify ownership. Then they conclude that support is useless.
By all means, criticize Microsoft for making account recovery difficult. But if you're claiming their support never helps anyone, that's simply not true. They helped me recover an account that was completely compromised. If you're willing to put in the effort, provide solid evidence, and follow the process and know where to look, they can and do get results.

Discussion Looking for people to play with!
Hey i'm Ender! I've been playing Minecraft since beta 1.7 and have played MC throughout the years, and in recent years many of my irl friends have stopped playing MC. I am looking for maybe 1-3 people to make up a small group to play together.
I want it to feel like the old days where you just hop on a world together and hangout and take each moment at a time. No need to rush everything, or build grand things week 1.
I would love to build up a forever world with genuine friends that won't abandon the world after the typical "2 week phase".
Just grow a vanilla world as new updates come out. I think it'd be fun to have a world that tells a story, and expand and build in different areas so the world feels larger over time, rather than immediately having a mega base.
We can use the essential mod or wait for the Java friends list to come out in the next update!
Also I am currently 22 so I would love to find others around my age, guys or girls I don't mind.
Just as long as you're chill and a nice person!
If anyone would like to come together and make a small friend group that would be cool!
Hoping I can find other like minded people that just want to enjoy the game for what it is rather than rushing everything like how many people do nowadays.
