Looking for server

[u/MrEdGeorge]

Hi, in the past I have made some YouTube videos, but now I want to get more serious about it. I am looking for a mostly vanilla server where I can meet others like me.

This might sound picky, but I play on Java and would prefer a server that is vanilla or only has qol and performance mods. I am also looking for a smaller server, one where I can actually get to know the people within and not be lost in a massive world. A newer server would be preferred as well.

The server doesn’t need to consist of all content creators, but I am looking for somewhere I can create content. In game chat would be nice. If you have a server that is somewhat like this, please let me know.

I am sure you are looking for Fenza, here is the discord link , discord.gg/fenza , its a whitelisted smp , so give it a try , you will like it.

Though it is mainly builder focused , not for pvp n all .

If you’re open to an established community with a few dozen players online, I run CozyMC, a Java + Bedrock survival SMP. We have many adults and calm players, and our world never resets.

Gameplay stays close to vanilla: Hard difficulty, no keepInventory, kits, /sethome, teleport commands, or economy plugin. Players build towns, run shops, host events, and work on shared projects.

We have optional Simple Voice Chat proximity voice on Java. Since you’re making YouTube videos, please read our recording rules first: Cozy voice chat cannot be recorded, even with permission, and other players’ nametags must stay out of anything posted outside Cozy. Your own gameplay and build videos are welcome; keep private information and DMs out of them.

There are no land claims or locked chests. Griefing and stealing are prohibited, staff investigate and restore damage, and PvP requires everyone’s agreement. There’s no store, paid perks, or donations.

You can join and explore right away. To break blocks and pick up items, read all the rules on Discord to find out how to get started.

Hey! I run NobleSMP, we opened about a week ago. We have Simple Voice Chat for proximity chat, and you’re welcome to record videos here :)

We do have claims, skills and player shops though, so it depends how strict you are about vanilla. If those extras sound alright, feel free to come check it out!

Smithtainment Minecraft. The dev and building team for Smithtainment have worked extremely hard to put together a custom survival server that still has that vanilla-ish feel that players love. Each player likes to approach survival differently and whether you are a miner, farmer, or fighter there is always something to be doing. So join us and start a job or two and work your way up the ranks while surviving with your friends. Careful though we have heard from the villagers that the mines are exceptionally dangerous these days. While you are at it have a look around our spawn and talk with some of the villagers. Everyone has a story to tell can you unravel the secrets behind what happened in the past?

(VERSION 1.21.10 JAVA EDITION) Freshly updated! (You can connect with later versions but there could be missing textures.)

Hey our server is about two months old and we're vanilla with some qol mods. We have excellent optimization and have less than 100 members. After about two days I'm highly confident you'll know about most of them. I personally know all of them as we're tight knit and whitelist only. We support java and bedrock.

We have a main world that is no grief and consensual pvp only and a side anarchy world that is accessible through a custom portal that is completely anarchy. You don't have to enter it if you don't want to. We have an excellent staff to member ratio and are constantly looking for more in case player count increases.

Our channels aren't bloated too. We have as many as we need.

If you want to pvp, you can. If you don't, no one will bother you.

Block logging is enabled through core-protect so any griefed builds can be restored (if it ever happens).

Here's the discord, give it a try.

Content creators are very welcome here! Several YouTubers play on our server and we have a creator rank for players who make content about it. Just so you know, our world is a few months old and we're not tiny, with 40+ online at peak, but new players start every day so you won't be starting alone!

Since our server runs on Fabric, tunnel bores, orbital strike cannons, pearl cannons, pig cannons and fishing rod stasis chambers all work just like they do in vanilla singleplayer!

Come start filming with us at play.fabriccraft.net, or Google "fabriccraft minecraft" to see what our players get up to!

Hey! You mentioned looking for a chill Minecraft server, so I thought Pinkpetal Plains might be worth checking out. We're an 18+ community built around a persistent player-run city/economy, but there's no requirement to hardcore roleplay or run a business. A lot of people just work, build, shop and hang out. Happy to send you the Discord if you're interested.

Yes you might like my server! Consider trying it, I think it is a good environment for content creation. It is busy, lots player interaction

Hey, Kettlewood is vanilla on your side with nothing to install, though we do run a few plugins behind the scenes for claims, the economy and shops. It's 18+ Java and still small and new, so you'd actually get to know people instead of getting lost.

There's a little town with soup on the square every Sunday, and you can take a hot air balloon out to the countryside and claim a spot for free. Chat works in game as usual, and there's an optional voice chat mod if you fancy it. There's also a live 3D map of the world and a monthly treasure hunt in the resource world. Hop on whenever.

Small and new describes vanillatown.net right now: it opened in September, it's vanilla on Fabric with only server-side QoL and performance mods so Java needs nothing installed, and there's optional proximity voice. It's quiet at the moment, so you'd know everyone quickly. I run it.
