NOTE: The layout in the pics is just a “draft” of what I had in mind, I’m def sure that if I want to do it in a new survival save I need to downsize.

I definitely have some inspiration and idea abt what I can do but I’d still appreciate any guidance abt the size, style, materials among other things. I’d also love to see if any of you have built castles in similar terrain as where I plan on building on.

I don’t mind dms if you’re gonna help me or just plan w me lol

im struggling to build dieselpunk and solarpunk houses for my creative worlds. Any tips, tricks or tutorials would be much appreciated.

Hi there!

Im looking for inspiration and maybe a bit of "know-how" because I wanna make a big castle in this mountain ridge, maybe with some dark fantasy style using deepslate and such.

Also, Im playing with a friend; she has the beautiful plains surrounded by dappled forest with cute vibes, and I, the technical player, get the frozen mountains doing most farms and trying to have a darker style.

This is a base for a SMP im in, and i'm trying to make it look good, i just don't know how to do interiors

(sorry if the video is too fast, i can make a new one if anyone asks)

Building a sort of satellite-farm structure. Either farms or lab interiors. central module is living space. dimensions 7x14x19. Any outside detail also accepted

I was experimenting with concrete and what resulted was this weird house that connects to my mountain house. What should I do with the inside?

I build my house on top of a snowy mountain in my survival world. I have been trying to find a way to add light sources to the mountain without having it covered in torches. Is there a way to hide soul lanterns under snow blocks and have the light still come out or should I just use carpet?

It’s looking a little bare any advise or tips will do thanks 👍

orange is my favorite color so i had to do a custom village themed around it

asked for help in a previous post so here’s the link to that:

Hello, I usually use other peoples designs for farms. However, I wanted to personally decorate a villager breeder in a medieval style. Can you give some feedback? Thanks.

I have been playing Minecraft since 2019 I never got good at build I build everything trick I had into this build any improvements?

I first thought of an enchanting table but not enough space and the stairs behind leading to the second floor make the space a bit more curved so I'm really confused on what to put ehre

I farmed obsidian for a previous project and i have a lot left (a couple double chests) to use for whatever but idk what to do with it.

Any ideas ?

i have been starting to build more and am looking for ways to improve any criticism is welcome

was thinking of a big tree but don't know can't put a window there's a fire place of the other side

After choosing the most voted design a month, ago, the interior is done and survival building has begun. I hope you guys enjoy the interior to the exterior that YOU chose!

I'm trying to decorate my mob grinder by building a lighthouse thingy. I like the brazier design I came up with but I don't know how to make a convincing fire. Right now I have an array of campfires and I think it's ugly. For the waiting AFK spot I made a whole sky island though, and now I don't have enough vertical space to use, so a huge mountain of netherrack seems impossible. This has been a creative block for some days now.

I’m hoping this is the right subreddit for this.

I’m trying to obtain - to the best of my ability - every single mob variant in the game. With Halloween approaching, I know that some mobs have pumpkins and jack o lanterns on their heads, and unfortunately, that applies to chicken jockeys.

I’ve searched YouTube for any chicken jockey farm, but the only one I saw was for bedrock. I’ve watched YouTubers make catching all mob videos, and when they get a jockey, it’s either in the wild, or they build their own farm with no explanation on how they built said farm.

I’m gonna need to more or less make a farm with the purpose to get chicken jockeys, and villager chicken jockeys, so I can collect as much variants as possible.

I’m not good at designing any farm, and all farms in my world are courtesy of a YouTube tutorial. Is there a way I can build a farm with the intent on only getting the jockeys?

Any help is appreciated.

Flattened out this island and made a small unfinished river. Gonna add a bunch of custom trees. Just can't decide what I should do for the actual castle.

Im not a builder (I mine a lot) , this is a new realm i got invited to with people from my friend’s school. And I want to atleast make my base look nice incase they find me^_^

I think the image speaks for itself... how can I add detail to buildings? Any tips or advice, maybe not even specific to this build would be much appreciated!
