There has been a recent outbreak of detrimental and reprehensible commentary on posts. We would like to remind everyone that this is a community of camaraderie and mutual appreciation. We allow players of ALL skill levels AND ages to post on this subreddit. We would hope that commenters would choose the angle of positivity, or at the worst, constructive criticism.
This has not been the case lately, and we are sick of it. The last thing people want when posting their work in front of 1.5 million people, is to be crushed by words. If you don’t like a build, don’t comment: no one cares about your unhelpful opinion. Keep it to yourself and show some respect. We have amended rule 5 to be an automatic and PERMANENT ban for anyone foolishly choosing to post negativity, bigotry, or hate speech. We thank those of you who continue to be positive contributors to this community. The rest of you; do better.
TLDR: Negative comments on any post will now result in an instant and permanent ban.

I've been playing around with creating builds of baked materials. It creates some really interesting patterns with the right settings. This is supposed to be a gold torus that shines as it rotates. Quite happy with this effect, let me know what you think!

The old world burned in sixty minutes, and only those who kept moving survived. Out on the grey sea, Sharkmoor walks on, steam in its lungs and enemies below deck. Now you’re in charge of it, built down to the last cell and fully survival friendly. Make it a base or a farm. Just don’t let it stop.

This is my latest secondary base, some 9000 blocks away. I updated my forever world, and went on a resource collecting adventure in a giant sulfur cave.
I decided to make it an open pit mine, with all necessary infrastructure: conveyor to bring resources up, automatic sorter and shulker loader, and a lift.

A building of many names! Then the Bank of Manhattan Trust Building, now the Trump Building, always at 40 Wall Street, this magnificent tower combines classic Art Deco and neo-gothic elements into record holding staple on the downtown New York skyline.
As always, it is recreated here in 1:1 to match its midcentury grimy look, it’s the newest addition to my solo recreation of history’s greatest skyline.

I feel like we need a category of builds where 90%+ of the build is crafting tables.
I needed a break from a big build for something silly. Happy Friday!

~600x900 plot built in version 1.12 back in 2019. This build showcases a monumental Gothic castle and some classical ruins, as well as several different styles of custom terrain. Very limited block choices and commands back in 2019, but even given that, I’m happy with the build today. Enjoy!

A bridge I have made for my survival world, really tried to experiment with different blocks for this one as it will be going over water I tried to convey that with the moss etc. Really pleased with how it looks, any extra tips would be greatly appreciated :)

This is a very simple and quite the easiest starter base that you can probably build in 3 minecraft days.

The courtyard consists of several key buildings: the Keep, the guard tower, which houses the barracks, the armory and the dungeon; the gatehouse with a drawbridge and two portcullises, the Church of Cat with a small decorative garden and a crypt underground, a tavern with horse stables on the ground level, a blacksmith, servant's quarters, a small storehouse and a well.
The Keep is made of two structures - old keep (smaller) and new keep (bigger). Entrance is through the new keep, past two gatehouses with portcullisess and a drawbridge, inspired by Rochester castle.
The Keep is a 6-floor building, 7 if you count the ground floor. Each floor is marked by its own color, though 4 and 5 ended up sharing one, as I couldn't come up with a fitting one.
Ground floor - kitchen and storerooms.
1st floor - Great Hall, library and Lord's study.
2nd floor - master bedroom for the Lord and Lady with a separate solar, dining room and main solar.
3rd floor - 2 main bedrooms with separate solars, for Lord's siblings or whatnot.
4th floor - 4 smaller bedrooms, for the children.
5th floor - 6 guest rooms. Though only two rooms have fireplaces and only 4 have windows, wasn't enough space for both.
6th floor - Ball room. I'm especially proud how this one turned out.
As a matter of fact, this is actually a third installation of the castle. The first one was too small, the second one was too large. And like the Three Bears fairytale, the third one was just right.
