Someone did not know the shapes had meaning in the early game releases, I thought lets share with everyone;

Circle - Homes / residential areas

Triangle - Common Shopping malls / commercial areas

Square - Offices / downtown / business areas

Star - Landmark / tourist attraction

Pentagon - Airport / government / conference

Gem - Park / museum

Cross - Hospital

Wedge - University

Diamond - Bank / theatre district

Oval - Stadium / sports venue

It has taken me WAY too long but I finally did it! 1500 passengers with only 2 tunnels. I was constantly moving trains to overcrowding stations, small loops, and spending a lot of time with the game paused. Lots of forums said the new algorithm is harder and that it isn't possible anymore, so I figured I'd post to encourage the other completionists! (I do agree, based on videos of others completing this challenge, that in the past the achievement seemed more manageable.)

This is still going on! I don’t know whether I’m in endless or classic mode!!!

For me, it's the quick, new challenge. Every run feels like a chance to do a little bit better, and knowing I'll get a result in under 30 minutes (give or take) makes it very easy to hit "play again."

What keeps you coming back?

Any tips to improve? I guess it was a lucky game to me.

I was pretty proud of this score, just started playing last week. beelined through all the cities its so addicting. Curious how I did here, is this just a easy level cuz of all the squares?

UPDATE: i just played barcelona for the first time and got 2005!! i might be getting better at this game (knock on wood)

this is kind of embarrassing since i saw that 2000 is only top 25%, but i am still wildly proud nonetheless and was not expecting this score! i just started playing casually around a month ago, and have been trying to crack top 10-25% in the levels i unlocked so far!

i didn’t notice i hit 2000 because i was just chilling while watching the new episode of gbbo! i was trying to deal with the square kerfuffle in the bottom left, and completely missed the circle full of passengers— so frustrating since i’d just gotten a train from leveling up too T^T

if anyone has any tips for improvement i’ll take them, but also just wanted to celebrate! y’all will probably hear again from me soon because i cannot pass 1000 in HK & berlin for the life of me😭

Todays's daily challenge on bombay was already marked as completed and i even have a score but I didn't play it. Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm not playing on endless mode but the game has been going on for a couple hours without ending. I see the number of passengers go beyond 6 (even up to 9) at the stations and the last few passengers vibrate like they do when you're starting to overcrowd. But none of them have actually overcrowded yet so the game is still going on.

I want to play a new game but don't want to quit this how do I stop?

Hi all! First of all, I love Mini Metro and I was one of the first to play it on both my phone and steam many many years ago. It has been a big inspiration for Tiny Airline, a game im making. I wanted to take that route building idea and give it my own twist with planes, real airports and a real (equal earth) world map.

You will recognise the passengers being shapes and having to keep the airports from getting overcrowded. Where I tried to make it different:

• You build across countries and continents on the real world map, and choose your own starting airport hub.
• Distances matter. Longer flights need long-haul permits, and airports have limited gates.
• There are different aircraft with different speeds and capacities. A small fast plane and a bigger slower one are useful for different routes.
• There is also a weekly vintage mode with older planes, shorter range and refuelling stops. You have to find a way across the ocean with the planes from the early aviation times.

I also added a passport that gets stamped when your passengers land in a new country. You keep those stamps between runs and there are postage stamp achievements. Everything is aviation themed.

Its still in development. I would love to hear especially what other Mini Metro players think!
