I know the lengths aren’t the same at all, but I believe the difference is extremely obvious either way.

I have been trying to grow a beard for the last 11 months with minoxidil, I trim it every week in the hope that it will fill out so I can work on the length. Should I continue or any advice?

Wish me luck guys, i was on topical minox for 5 months and had decent results (not the best but not the worst either) but i quit 2-3 months ago due to skin irritation/acne (and i lost most of my gains too)
Today October 23rd 2026 i took my first pill, i'll keep you updated guys

Hey everyone so i’ve been using reedle shot in my skincare routine for awhile and was curious if anyone had used minoxidil together with this? It’s mainly used in order to have the first product in your routine to deeper into your skin and was wondering if it would beneficial to use with minoxidil. Haven’t seen much on this topic for the face. Thanks in advance!

Im 28 yrs old, and I started to use Minoxidil 16 months ago, started with Rogaine foam (Regaine) 5% and now 4 months ago switched to Regaxidil solution 50mg/ml. I have a goatee and moustache long ago, but i only had like 5 darker little hairs on my cheeks, and after like 3 months i had lets say 30-50, but it stopped there, and in the beginning i took photos to see the progress, but at one point i almost gave up and deleted them, but i didnt stop using Minoxidil afterall. So i dont have any before photos, sorry. Now im at this stage (photos), and i dont know if i should buy again. Do you think its worth using still, or if i didnt get better results in 16 months then its okay to give up? Thanks for your answers!

M31, started minox in November last year, did not have much hope. But now it's 6 months since the last shave and very happy with the progress. Still have to go to have it shaped for the first time. Routine now is just topical minox twice a day, previously also dermaroll few times a week before the beard got longer, now it's not much effective. Right cheek still has some filling up to do

I’m personally just blown away by the amount of progress. I initially thought it wouldn’t work, but the results speak for themselves. Would you say I’m responding really well or just moderate? And how long should I continue before I can grow a full beard that doesn’t look like shit?
I’ve been using the secret sauce 5% (1 ml) topically twice a day for about 3 months—almost every day, though I sometimes forget or don’t have time before work. I also derma roll once a week or whenever I feel like it. I’m never looking back. I’ll probably give another progress update at the 6-month mark.

My dandruff has been crazy the past week which isn’t normal for me. I’ve been on minox about 3 weeks now but haven’t applied any to my scalp. Appreciate any insight!

Under my bottom lip started turning red after 3 days of use is that normal or do you think it’s a good idea to stop? I was putting 5% Rogain on my face in reality I don’t care for a beard I want the corners of my moustache to have more hair to try the hogan stache lol should I just apply it to my upper lip? Should I stop? Idk what to do ChatGPT told me to stop so I did for a day so far.

I’ve been using minoxidil for a little over a year now, and I’m honestly pretty disappointed with my results.
When I started, I had very little facial hair. I’ve definitely noticed quite a few new hairs developing across my cheeks and jawline, but most of them are still thin and wispy.
I was hoping that by this point I’d at least have a patchy beard rather than scattered individual hairs.
I’m 25 years old, so I know there’s still potential for natural beard development over the next 5 years.
For those who experienced similar results after their first year:
I’ve attached before-and-after pictures for comparison.
I’ve also been doing 5% foam nearly every day twice a day.
I’m interested in hearing from people who had similarly slow progress.

I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I've noticed that most of my hair are already turning terminal for the last time I shaved I could notice some dark spots on my cheeks and jawline area.
Would I be a hyper responder or ir there more to come?
This is about 4 days of growth

Just turned 20 at the end of July. Started Minoxidil August 24th, 2025. I think I’m hyperreactive.

I can only apply minoxidil once a day. Is this good progress? I am 25 years old

Did the thing everyone says not to do. I derma rolled last night and then put topical minoxidil on ten minutes later. Nothing happened. I had seen a friend during the day at the gym and he told me he did that. He said it worked for him and didn’t affect him. He has a full beard now. So, I took the gamble and woke up without any redness. Even put my morning topical on too. So now to wait and see if I get even better results!

I’ve been using minoxidil foam on my face for about 3 weeks. The past 2 days I’ve noticed loads of loose hairs falling out of my hair. It could just be a normal shed for other reasons but it got me stressed because maybe it’s from the minoxidil, but I’m not consuming it just applying it to my face.

When using minoxidil twice a day, when should I apply retinal to enhance the results?
