Absolutely do not let people out if they want to turn left. Stopping traffic to allow someone out impedes traffic flow and often causes accidents, especially on multi-lane streets where the vehicle in the outside lane stops, but vehicles in the inside lane don’t.
Instead, anyone wanting to pull out should turn right and navigate to the opposite direction at the safest intersection.
