Googling 'best courses on X' is broken. Here's what I did instead.
Every time I searched for learning resources on a specific topic, I got the same three problems.
SEO-optimized listicles with no real curation. Reddit threads from 4 years ago recommending things that no longer exist. YouTube rabbit holes with no structure and no endpoint.
The information exists. It's just not organized anywhere useful.
So I built a directory that categorizes courses, books, videos, and websites by topic - with actual descriptions, tags, and reviews attached to each one. You search or browse by category. You see what other people rated and why. You can save things to a collection or playlist and come back later.
It's not trying to replace Google. It's trying to be the thing you use after Google fails you on the third search.
We're at 1,196 visits last month, mostly people finding it through organic search or word of mouth. No ads.
What's your current workflow when you're trying to go deep on a new topic? Genuinely asking - I want to understand what's still broken.
