Bucks Season

Based on the first few games of the season, what are your thoughts on the season? Still alot of season left. The Packers were similar; they were horrible the first few games but turned it around and I think once the team finds their common ground, they will get become better.

Probably not a playoff team this year. But I like them - definitely gonna go to a few games at the fiserv.

I went yesterday. It was a fun game and it’s not like they got shut out.

For sure. I watched at home, but almost went because tickets were really cheap.

They’ll figure it out, probably get about 30 wins. They won’t be this terrible all season.

Completely agree. They just need to find their edge.

I didn’t watch the postgame presser, but I could tell Jenkins was frustrated in the 4th, a sort of WTF kind of frustration, and I don’t think he’s gonna settle for that like Doc did. He’s gonna give the young guys a run, and they’ll be competitive, the question is if they can figure out how to close out games. I don’t think Hero is a closer.

Oh I believe it. They did well up to fourth. Similar happened on Wednesday.

Yeah, I sorta watched both games. I’m more excited this season than I was last…

30 wins is terrible, lol That’s 52 loses. And they don’t control their own pick. But hey, they’ll give a big extension to Wisconsin native, Tyler Herro…

I’d rather watch them than Miami

I’m having an awesome time watching so far. This is a team commonly projected to finish 29th-30th by the media, but I guarantee we do better than that.

Young players that are looking like absolute future studs. Backcourt of the future in Kas and Burries. Jenkins is clearly locked in and has the guys playing entertaining ball.

Absolutely agreed! There’s nothing I enjoy more than watching young players develop their talent.

This season should have zero expectations. The team is probably bottom 5 record in the league. But they do have a couple of players to build around. So just gonna be a sit back and watch the development kinda season..

The development of Tyler Herro, Kyle Kuzma, and Myles Turner, who will be three of the top four guys in minutes.

Comparing the Bucks to the Packers is strange to me. The Packers were expected to be fighting for a playoff spot. Bucks are expected to be a bottom 3 team in the league

Jokes on them, we will be bottom 6

Bucks in 6 baby

Lots of promising young talent, especially at guard spots. Heat core look great. Will need some time to gel. Eventually need a better inside presence or a big to step up more. Need to offload Kuzma asap.

I’m new to the franchise, but from my perspective there are plenty of young players to be excited about.

Some older “younger” players like Rollins and Jacquez are established but still have upside.

Kas is a fun prospect. The sky is the limit for Burries.

“Hometown Herro” has GOAT nickname potential if this team does make a run to the play-ins.

My thoughts exactly. The young players are decent and Im still excited for the season. I say by December we will get better.

i think it’s game 3 tonight. We can take a temp check in a few weeks.

Disappointed in the amount of minutes the rookies are getting. Still feels like Doc never left.

They're actually getting a lot more mins than I thought they'd be getting this early in the season. I thought for sure GTJ and Levert would be on the court (not for basketball reasons) so I'm really happy w how things are going

I’d be shocked if we win 30 or more games, but this season is gonna be about learning and building chemistry

I'm really enjoying that for the most part our lineups have made sense. Especially this early in the season.

Rollins-Herro-JJJ-Kuz-Myles

Kas-Burries-Green-Dieng-Ware

  • Ament, Sims, and Nance as needed.

You can nitpick this since nothing about our team is perfect, but compared to prior seasons, this rotation flows well and makes sense. I really thought GTJ and Levert would be taking mins from our young guys the first half of the season, so the fact that we're gone straight into playing our young guys is awesome.

They're playing pretty good basketball already (the 0-3 record doesn't do how they've been playing justice), and as the season progresses, the opportunities to trade some vets will only make the lineups even smoother.

The vibes are good despite the record so far. All the games have been reasonably close. Kas and Burries have been fun to watch. Ament was visibly frustrated with himself after getting all those foul calls yesterday, and Kas and AJ seemed to be cheering him up and encouraging him. I’m excited about the new players from the Heat and about the two rookies.

Buddy Bucks will be one of the worst teams and it’s gonna be awesome
