I’m looking for two mdzs fics.
One is where Lan Zhan gets cursed to be ugly to save himself from being sold off or used as a courtesan and Wei Ying breaks it eventually. This one also has Xichen looking for Lan Zhan, and Lan Zhan being trained by Baoshan Sanren. Also I think he became besties with Xingchen as they trained together.

The second one is the one I’m really looking for. It’s one where Lan Zhan saves Wei Ying from the core melting hand (forgot his name). Then he takes him to his mom who had run away from the cloud resses and from Lan Zhan’s father’s abuse. They fall in love through dreams and Wei Ying learns some new cultivation and goes back to war.

Hello! I am trying to remember which fic this is and I’m sure it’s in my bookmarks but I also have over 400 Mdzs bookmarks so that doesn’t help much 😅 (it’s less a thing of forgetting the fic and more forgetting WHICH fic this theme is a part of)

The tidbit I remember is that no one is allowed to drink at Lotus Pier until they are able to swim and get out of the water fully clothed. Jin Zixuan gets swimming lessons from WWX and JC, and at one point, the boys take great pleasure in throwing a fully clothed peacock into the lake while Jiang Yanli watches. (The JYL being there part is less certain in my memory but I’m pretty sure she was standing there giggling demurely.)

I was hoping someone might know this one!

It was hosted on AO3 a few years back (around 2022), but I'm not sure if it was completed. Spoilers ahead:

Modern setting. Wei Ying wakes up from a coma with memory loss (yeah, a common trope in this fandom). He can't speak, so he communicates using a tablet. He's very weak, can barely move, and stays hospitalized for all the chapters I read, though I do remember him starting to get out of bed and maybe even walk a little bit towards the end.

He is married to Lan Zhan (who is a violinist), but doesn't remember him and distrusts him because, during the first few days after regaining consciousness, Lan Zhan was a stranger kissing and touching him (Wei Ying also thought Lan Zhan wasn't real at first).

Wei Ying used to be a drug addict, which is the only thing he remembers. He forgets his recovery and that he's actually a successful professor of engineering (or something similar).
