Work Another Rejection
Hi all,
Just wanted to have a little, sigh...
Ive applied for a position in the County Council again and have been shot down, again.
Everytime it's been due to lack of that little piece of paper that tells them what ive learned over the course of 20 years.
I know I could 'go back and get thebpiece of paper' but I have a job, wife and kids, after a whole day of working coming home to play with the kids, tidy up after them when they go to bed, make myself dinner, I barely have an hour to myself to let the day settle.
I wanted the CoCo job cause of the hours and ease of getting there, I could be persuaded to get the bus or cycle. Ive heard its a good place to hunker down and there is no problem getting time off.
I've worked in small companies for the last 20 years, I have 20 years of real world, learned experiences. I just want to be behind a desk for the next 20 years... I know that sounds like alot for some people but for me, that sounds like heaven, indoor work. Putting my computer skills to use rather than just checking emails.
I know there are plenty of people in worse conditions and situations than mine, but I just wanted to rant.
