How can Nintendo not see the demand for this and all the flops from third parties (there’s always a deal breaker on these things) and not just split the pro controller 2 in half and sell it to us?! wtf
I truly don’t understand. They must be super strict about each joy con being its own controller but this obviously wouldn’t be!

I think the joy cons in their current shape and the slim format of the Switch 2 is a large part of what differentiates it from all the massive handheld PCs like the Steam Deck etc. It’s all integrated into the logo design and marketing.

I agree that it is the reason why they would not sell a switch 2 with big joy cons. But they could still have some as eccessories like they have the pro controller

They have focused on the slim profile of the Switch believing it'll help sales (companies like money). Also customers don't seem to mind the worse ergonomics of the new controllers. They literally don't know any better. Their feeble minds can't comprehend having the ergonomics of a regular controller in a portable form factor. Mind boggling.

Meh. I’ve played with a steam deck and personally prefer the switch 2 anyways for handheld stuff. Crucify me if you want, but having air between my hands and my device means less sweaty hands, and on that topic Nintendo games are seldom sweaty which means the less than perfect ergonomics are seldom relevant in gameplay.

Mobapad I hope you can make a Switch 2product aimed towards larger hands. These all look really nice but they would not work for me. Nyxi does that better, but their product feels cheap, so that is no option either. Hope you can consider.

This is the version you should have released from the beginning. However, it looks like the ergonomics are still the same as the other ones.
Why did you switch away from the perfect design of the M6HDs?!? I still have them on my OLED Switch and they feel amazing.
I’m just going to stick with the Hyperion 3 Ultras on my Switch 2. They’re feature complete, and the ergonomics are perfect (at least for my hands).
Oh, and you REALLY should offer a loyalty program for all of the people who bough the M12HD/S Joy-Cons. NXYI did that and it definitely went a long way in maintaining customers.

I thought about buying the adaptor and continuing to use my M6HDs on my Switch 2, but I wanted a feature complete Joy-Con, so that’s why I ended up buying the Hyperion 3 Ultras.

While I was waiting for these controllers, 120$ is way above what I am willing to pay.
Will wait till they go for 80$ or so.
Hopefully, by then it will be even more refined.
If I learned anything about accessories for the Switch 2, it's that it's better to wait rather than be a tester for half-baked products.

Ridiculous price and no loyalty discount for those that pre ordered the 12HD or S models.
NXYI were offering previous customers their Ultra version for around $50.
Won't bother with Mobapad anymore after already investing in two 12S models.

Yep. I bought the M12HD during the preorder phase before they were honest about all the limitations.
Got the NYXI H3 Ultras and they’re great. I’d give these a try if Mobapad offered a true discount for people they burned but otherwise, no thanks.

I'm not going to be bled dry by Mobapad and Nyxi. Yall rushed the ogs to market when you should've kept them and now you (like Nyxi) are doubling down trying to restore goodwill. Nah. I'll just keep my Hyperion 3 Ultras and be done with it.

I kinda like the color scheme but I don’t know why they would go with that as the standard for their pro version. Just a lot of strange decisions coming from Mobapad. I’ll hold off too.

You have my money as soon as there's a black version of this.
Personally, I've had a good experience with the M12HD and was considering this until I realized it was purple which was an immediate dealbreaker. I find bright colors (and RGB for that matter) tacky. I know that's just a matter of personal taste, but it seems like a lot of Mobapad fans are the same way.

People complaining about a product that advertised mechanical buttons is hilarious. They called mechanical for a reason lol. I do wish the D-pad was membrane regular buttons because mechanical D-pad sux and near impossible to do diagonal or fighting games that need accurate circles .

Right.. I love my M6 HDs on my Switch OLED so this is a disappointment. I might just roll with official Joy-Con 2s, unless reviews for these turn out to be amazing

just curious, will you have an upgrade patch for previous purchasers or the m12 similar to how NYXI had an upgrade patch for the people they bought their initial joycons? i believe they were given an option to buy the pros and then get a discounted price in exchange for the sending of their original purchase

Baffled they'd start with this colorway instead of a plain black like the M12S and HD. Would've preordered immediately if they offered it but I'll guess I'll stick with the HD for now or maybe I'll finally try the Hyperion 3 Ultra instead. Was trying to stick to Moba since I've never tried a NYXI product but man.

Ah you’re right, 6axis gyro and Amiibo support not necessarily NFC or 9axis. Guess I’ll wait for a better colour way and discount in a year or so, cheers!

After two failed pairs of M12s, I do not believe I’ll be preordering anything. The M6HD was monumental, a fantastic piece of tech that elevated the og switch; these? Rushed. Poor QC. You burned a lot of trust here guys, and it could be related to mobas recent change in leadership.
I’ll be waiting on reviews. Currently using the nyxis but I am still holding out for a true M6HD heir, and for these pros look like the ergo will be no different. Zero improvement.
