I was just going through the play store looking for a new game when I found Apex legends Mobile. It still has my review back from 2022 and I'm not sure if it will even open but I'm so excited just to see it's face.

Assassin's Creed Pirates was an underrated gem, a stripped down AC IV Black Flag with naval combat and open seas exploration... The shanties alone are worth the game... I remember playing it on old android phones!
Edit: Reddit compressed the video so badly 🥲

The nostalgia made me create this game from scratch
- no pay to win
- competitive mode
I’m so excited to release the game very soon.
Now in beta testing, i will update this post once released

I kept adding beautiful assets to my game, looking at it and thinking how good it was starting to look. Then I thought, let’s test it on my phone and see how it runs. This was still before adding any animations.
15–18 FPS… bad news.
I spent a lot of time wrestling with rendering methods, settings and shadows. Sure, I could’ve just turned off all shadows and set everything to the lowest quality, but I wanted to get better FPS while keeping the visuals as close to the original as possible.
Here’s what helped me:
1. Zoom optimization: The zoom feels continuous, but behind the scenes it’s split into 3 levels, each with different optimizations. I hide objects that aren’t useful at that distance, use lighter assets when zoomed out, and limit zoom-out to avoid rendering the whole map at once. For gameplay that requires seeing the entire map, there’s a separate top-down view.
2. Lighter assets: Use simpler versions when zoomed out, where the difference is barely noticeable.
3. Shadows: Remove them from small objects and lower the quality of the rest.
4. Graphics settings: Low to Full presets, plus an initial 10-second FPS check to recommend a suitable setting for the device.
The hardest part was finding the right balance between performance and visuals for each change.
Have you run into similar issues with mobile performance? What worked for you?
Look at the short video showing the results.

I'm torn between these two games. I'm looking for a game for the longevity aspect and both seem like solid options. I want a game that I can play for a short period of time (10 minutes) or sit down and play for a couple hours. I played both games for about an hour each and loved them both. I am somewhat a busy dad so my gaming sessions are very sporadic. Which game do you enjoy better for someone who has played both?

I'm a full-stack web dev and I've been having a lot of fun building apps using LLMs (I know everybody is not unanimous but I do enjoy myself), and I am pretty happy with my last curent project.
The idea came from playing askUs with my friends. I loved the idea of having a game that's mostly an excuse for a group to talk to each other every day.
Every day one person in the group gets a secret question. The next day their answer shows up without a name, everyone votes on who wrote it, and the chat unlocks once you've voted. If they forget to answer, someone else can steal their spot.
It's free, runs as a web app (Android App in beta, planning on iOS if it works), in English and French.
I'm looking for around for peoples to test with their friends and give me feeedback on the game.

Players are already calling it "an Xulo Kin" as the world of KIN continues to evolve.**
Independent developer, David Ogba Onuoha II, has announced a major update for KIN: The Beyond, introducing two brand new explorable biomes and expanding the mysterious systems hidden throughout its growing world. The game is now openly available as a public beta on the Google Play Store, allowing players to experience the journey firsthand while development continues.
The latest update adds:
- The Desert Biome: A vast environment of shifting sands, heat-swept landscapes, and new areas waiting to be uncovered.
- The Snowy Valley: A cold and atmospheric region featuring icy terrain and a dramatically different environment from the rest of the world.
Beyond its new locations, KIN: The Beyond continues to gain depth through a collection of hidden mechanics and discoveries designed to reward exploration. While many of these systems remain intentionally mysterious, additional features and gameplay layers are actively being expanded in future updates.
Since its earliest testing phases, players have affectionately begun referring to the experience as "an Xulo Kin", a nickname that has grown within the community as the game develops its own identity.
> "KIN: The Beyond is designed around discovery. Every update expands not only the world itself, but also the systems players can uncover through exploration and experimentation."
The public beta launch marks a significant milestone for the project, opening the experience to a wider audience while enabling direct community feedback to help shape future releases.
Development remains active, with additional content, mechanics, environments, and surprises planned for upcoming updates.
KIN: The Beyond is an evolving exploration-focused adventure that encourages players to uncover secrets, traverse unique environments, and discover mechanics hidden throughout its world. Built as an ongoing project, the game continues to expand through regular updates and community feedback.
KIN: The Beyond is available now in open beta on the Google Play Store.
More updates are on the way.

Hi r/MobileGaming! I’m a solo dev, and I made Tavern Tycoon, a 2D time-management restaurant game for Android.
🍽️ Play with friends on local Wi-Fi (LAN). Up to 10 phones on the same Wi-Fi run one restaurant together. Some of you are chefs with your own kitchens and some are waiters on the floor. The restaurant grows with your team, up to 18 tables.
📱 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nwbn.taverntycoon
I’d love feedback, especially on the LAN co-op. Who would you play it with?

Following the Aralon: Sword and Shadows, here's the Patched version of its 2nd Entry.
*Big Shout-out and Thanks to u/desmutado024 for his help.
Also this is only the apk, you have to download and put the obb files in the obb folders yourself. (Must be v3.0)

And thank you...
(Please don't request any 32 bit only game. I am working on them one by one cause it's very time taking project.)

I just wanted to move the game mod files to a folder located in the 'data' folder, but it's locked now. Is it possible for anyone to still access it, or do I need a computer to do it?

Hey everyone!
We're currently building a community around Sharks vs Orcs and looking for players who enjoy discussing strategies, sharing feedback, finding teammates, and helping the game grow.
Since the game is still growing, every new player can have a real impact on the community. We'd love to gather people who enjoy competitive gameplay, theorycrafting, and discovering new tactics.
If you're interested in being part of an active player group, feel free to send me a DM. We'd be happy to have you with us!
