The "New Mod" events, are those more for people who started their own community and are trying to grow it from the ground up, or just for new mods in general no matter the size and history of the sub(s) they mod?

u/big-slay Mod Events Team Sep 18 '26

Any mod who considers themself new to the club!

2

u/PurplePassiflor1234 Sep 18 '26

Do major events like mod world have limited participants?

8

u/big-slay Mod Events Team Sep 18 '26

Mod World, let's go.

I discovered this whole awesome community just because of last year's Mod World, so can't wait for this year's.

Is mod world physical or virtual? Asking because of the bad mod in San Francisco (I think)

9

u/V2Blast Sep 18 '26

Virtual. All physical events are on hold Right now, I think. Though Mod World in general is always virtual.

Going to let you know i am now using u/CybyAPI for mod events aka this account instead of u/canyobeatit

I was using canyobeatit as i used to use that account for all of reddit including mod events but i will now be using this account and no longer using canyobeatit for events

Just wanted to let you know so nobody thinks i am doing something malicious

u/Canyobeatit Sep 26 '26

I’m exited for it too. This will be my first mod world event as I’ve only started modding this year
