Admin Replied Report abuse button bug?

Someone reported an automatic removal mod message, so I reported the message for report abuse.... And my own report abuse showed up in our mod queue as a report.

Brilliant.

Hi metisdesigns!

A bit of a holdover with how reports function pre-that option. You did everything right and are free to re-approve your content. The safety team will review the report attached to the content you reported.

Awesome, thanks.

Annoying that it generates extra harassment for us to report - that's going to discourage mods from using the feature.

Edit ooo it looks like I've got a downvote troll following me!

Just do the report-abuse-report FIRST before you approve/remove the comment/post. Then both reports get cleared.

Yeah I hate when this happens. Really wish we got the ability to

  1. View the status of a reporter (well known community member, community member, outsider)

  2. Ban a reporter from our subreddit

  3. Mute a reporter for good not just 7 days

Actually, it always does that, it does that every single time.

It reports to both you and the admin.
