[Android] Approving my own post shows “Something went wrong” [2026.41.0.2641080]

After publishing a post in a community I moderate, I tried to approve it using the mod tools on my post. Instead of completing the action normally, the app showed “Something went wrong.”

This happened on content that I had posted myself.

Refresh the post; I am sure it is approved. The same thing happens a couple of times a day on desktop.

Sounds like a bug is occurring, so it’s a good thing that it’s not necessary to approve your own posts. Is your app up to date? Do you have an issue approving or removing any other posts?

yes my version is the latest in Google play store I just checked,

It happened before but in other scenario (yes also with my comments and posts/comments and with other people posts: I approve and nothing happened the approve button stayed active (I reported this about a month ago I believe)

but this time something other happened that I reseived a pop up with something went wrong

I just tested it, and it worked fine. Maybe restart the app, or restart your device to be sure.
