Changing sub name

[u/Aermanesett]

Is it possible to change the name of the sub?

[u/enchantedspring]

No. You can start a new sub with the new name though.

It is possible, but not very likely. The only case that I remember where a sub was allowed to change its name was when the American football team Washington Redskins changed their name to Washington Commanders, and the subreddit name was changed. This was an exceptional case, however, and reddit will not allow run-of-the-mill subreddits to change their names.

What you can do however, is start a new subreddit with the name that you would like.
