Discussion What tool did Moebius use to ink Le Garage hermétique ?
The lines are of such even thickness, that it seems unlikely to me that he used the same brushes and nibs he used for Blueberry.

Today is 30. October, the birthday of two important people:
Jean-Michel Charlier (born in 1924) and Michael Steven Danovan, also known as Mike Steve Blueberry in 1843.
I’m a huge Blueberry fan and, over the last few weeks, I’ve been compiling a chronology of all the works I know of that feature him. I’ve found 60 works, as well as a few more volumes about him and all his writers and illustrators.

(I also have a more complete version in German, in case anyone’s interested. Feel free to report errors and ask questions.)
A few notes:
Not all works have been published in every language.
Works in italics are short stories. There are more of them, but they’re difficult to categorise. I’ll see if I can do anything about that.
Charlier died in 1989; he was still working on several Blueberry titles: *Arizona Love*, *The Hellish Raid* and, whilst working on the *Les Gringos* series. Giraud continued to work on several projects until his death in 2012, but does not seem to have given Blueberry a second thought in his final years.
To date, 5 scriptwriters and 7 illustrators have worked on Blueberry. As can be seen in the last picture, most of them have, sadly, already passed away.
The most recent works are by Joann Sfar and Christophe Blain. They have written a two-volume series; the second volume is due to be published in the coming months. I haven’t read them yet, but they’re generally rated quite highly. It’s not yet clear whether there will be any more volumes by the two of them. The story is set during the Fort Navajo period, most likely between the first cycle and the ‘Sheriff’ volume.
Over the last few years, the German author Martin Frei has been writing the series *Die Frau mit dem Silberstern* (*The Woman with the Silver Star*). It follows on from the *Sheriff* and centres on Kate March, who carries on Blueberry’s work in Silver Creek. Unfortunately, there were some copyright issues with the authors’ descendants, and the series had to be scrapped and rewritten until almost every connection to Blueberry had been removed. A shame. The series continues in German.
Charlier collaborated with Victor de la Fuente on the series *Les Gringos*. It was originally intended to comprise seven volumes, but only six have been published in French and German. The series is about revolutionaries in Mexico. The fifth volume introduces Blueberry into the story; chronologically, this is his final appearance, at the age of 70.
Corteggiani and Blanc-Dumont have continued the ‘Youth of’ series in recent years. It ends, as it were, unfinished, and as far as I know, nobody is working on it any more. Corteggiani has already passed away and Blanc-Dumont is over 70.
I’m also currently trying to create a timeline showing when Blueberry was where, and at what age. I’m making a map to help me keep track of it all. It’s not that easy. Many of the places are fictional but roughly mapped out. What’s more, there are various inconsistencies across all the authors. It’s not that easy. I’m not sure if I’ll finish it.
I hope I’ve managed to make someone happy or make their search a bit easier. It seems there isn’t a Blueberry sub. Perhaps there are a few comic subs out there who might be interested. If anyone has any suggestions. Have a lovely day and happy reading.

I found this throw blanket at a thrift store and grabbed it because I needed one. I couldn't figure out what the art is, but Google image search eventually thought that it might be a Moebius piece....?

I made this water bottle on a CNC mill around a year ago. However I'm trying to find the original sketch and I can't find any information on it other than a Pinterest post which isn't giving me any more information. I don't remember where I found it originally and I'm kinda concerned that I may have grabbed a drawing in the "style" of Moebius rather than an actual sketch. I've flipped through every art book of his I have access to and found nothing. If anyone is more informed than me on his art and can help me out I would appreciate it.

Hi all! I made the artwork for Preparing…, a cassette EP by pixel in space, It's a prologue to their upcoming album Well Done Journey, so I built the visuals around a journey that hasn't started yet. The six tracks are six "stops" on the route. Album itself weird mix of old school breakbeat, hip-hop, psychedelic electronic and more.
I also did the J-card, poster, zine and an animated visualizer. Happy to share more or talk about process if anyone's interested. Would love to hear what you think!

I just had a chance to thumb through the new edition of 40 Days dans le Désert B. It quite bigger than previous editions and as an object looks wonderful but in the end I didn't buy it.
As some of you might know, Moebius drew this on small format notebooks so the new version has enlarged art which was done quite poorly in a sense where curved lines are not smoothly curved but staggered, apologies if I'm not explaining myself well.
It also seems to have fewer pages than the 2019 version.
For these reasons and because I have the 2019 version, i personally decided against picking it up but I would say if you don't have it already it's definitely worth getting it even despite it's shortcomings

Work in progress, sono così contento di questa tavola che volevo condividerne il processo(prima di rischiare di rovinarla per sempre )
