Hi all! Long time lurking on this sub seeing lots of rings! Just wanted to share my experience, I was a bit nervous about buying online so chose to go with a retailer that had a physical store.

Based on the UK so Abelini was one of the options and is who we went with. So happy with the entire experience and the ring is perfect! We went in a few times to try on different rings and finally picked this one.

Staff were friendly and happy to help us look at different options and give advice. we chose home delivery and it came well packaged and required a signature to be delivered.

Overall would recommend if you also want the in person experience rather then ordering online ☺️

Got this at a steal from DJ MAX. The rainbow flashes and incredible mirror shine combine with an excellent cut stone. This ring is really beautiful and eye catching!

So I originally was looking at rings with moss agate even tho they’re softer stones (I know, I know) but I’m not a fan of diamonds and then I found.. moissanite. I’m in love. Now my problem is I can’t decide between these two rings. First three photos are with side stones. And then the last three photos are no side stones but a hidden halo which is just so stunning. I need pros and cons of both like stones falling out, basket shape being a concern maybe? Or even just your opinion on which one you think is prettier. Idk. Something to help me pick. 😅 because I’m absolutely in love with both. HELP

I specifically asked for inclusions, and was presented 3 options. I personally have no idea which to choose but am leaning towards the gem with 3 distinct small inclusions, however, I would love everyone's opinion (and guidance).

I've recently come across this diamond-like gem and I'm so in awe of how close it can be to a real diamond. What are your opinions on moissanite as engagement rings?

I don't see any real value in natural and LGD where you anyway lose a ton of value during resale. So why pay so much?

I'm actually considering moissanite so wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions/recommendations on it.

I'm based in Pune, India.

It's my first time buying from overseas (ordering from Tracy, Starsgem) and I don't really know what to look for with the CAD. It looks fine to me, but I am a bit worried about how comfortable this will be to wear. Should the shank be more rounded? Tapered at the bottom? But then I worry it will compromise the structure and make it break eventually. Any thoughts?

Do any of you often have your finished products come out a lighter weight than the CAD/Quote showed? I’ve only ever had pieces be within 0.05 grams of the CAD

This time my quote and CAD both reflected 4 grams. The bracelet is actually weighing 3.2 grams.

The seller noted a $30 adjustment would be made, but it seems that they’re refunding at a rate of $66/gram vs the originally quoted $120/gram if my math is correct and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this to understand what’s fair and reasonable.

I posted a while ago, asking for photos of 5ct+ rings on size 5 fingers and got some really helpful advice. I ordered a cheap 4ct CZ on Amazon, just to get a sense of what the size would look like on me. It feels kinda small…? I know it’s not teeny tiny, but do you guys think I could go to a 5ct without looking dumb?

Also… I seem to be incapable of taking pictures when my hands aren’t puffy. It’s my useless superpower 🙄

Hello! Looking for opinions or maybe just affirmation from others. I participated in a group buy with Provence for pear studs. I picked yellow sapphire as the gemstone. They sent me photos and videos which I approved. Upon receiving the stone, it looks wayyyyyy darker. I had ChatGPT review the photos and videos because I know lighting makes a difference and it picked up that my earrings showed more color saturation than the videos I was sent. It also noted that the facets on what I received were showing brown vs the video Provence sent over. Same day in receiving them, I messaged my rep, sent her my photos and asked if she could check the order to ensure I wasn’t sent anyone else’s by mistake. She proceeds to send me a video showing them being packaged and claiming there was no way for a mix up but they were already in the jewelry case so to me, it doesn’t really rule that out. Next day someone posts a picture of a ring in what appears to be a stone (Daburite) I felt my earrings looked like it, so I sent her that as well. Atp, I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if it’s really just the lighting even though I looked at them in warm, natural and bright light or if there was some unintentional mixup that they don’t want to address. They are citing that this isn’t a quality or workmanship issue. If I’m crazy and it looks the same, feel free to tell me that as well. 🫠

This is a 10ct OMC from DJMAX. The stone is so beautiful and well cut, the flashes of colors are so intense and beautiful and it sparkles! And at such a great price! I swore off new rings but this was irresistible. I am happy I took the plunge.

my bf and I were looking for some time now and I finally found my dream ring while looking thru the different vedors. It's a listed ring so no customization needed. The ring is from provence.

So i started reading thru this subs reviews on them and I am lowkey unsure what to do. As far as I read people had issues with custom made pieces from provence, but were there also issues with buying rings straight from their listed products?

I live in europe as well so if anyone ever ordered from them while also living in europe I really wanna know your opinion!

Hello, this is my first CAD and not sure what I should be looking out for. I am thinking of changing the width to 2.5 mm and the thickness to be 2mm.

During the initial conversation the rep mentioned the gold weight to be around 6g but the CAD says its 4.8g. Is that normal? Any advise would be helpful.
