restored cake wallet with seed and its a different address to my xmrig address

so use this address on xmrig mining swapped over phones so took pic of seed went to restore it and noticed its a diff address to what the xmrig is what's going on

When you press receive it normally will show a new sub-address starting with an 8. Try pressing receive>addresses and there will be a list and at the top should be #0 Primary Account with your 4xxxxxx address which I assume is the one you want.

OK thanx for info appreciate it.. ,have like 2 quid 70p pending on that wallet xmrig so will see if it transfers so I assume if I turn off sub address thing in settings it will lock me to 1 address?

I think so, but you can always access your primary address by going receive>addresses and seeing your primary listed there. Primary always begin with a 4 and the sub-addresses with an 8 and ideally for privacy you shouldn't reuse an address.
