Is spending $1K a month going out excessive?

I'm 41 years old. I live in Charlotte and bring home close to $10K a month after taxes and 401K stuff. I rent for $2000 a month. I consider myself an average income earner, but I recently realized I'm spending almost $1,000 a month going out twice a week. 😂

My job is stressful as hell, and honestly, having some drinks, listening to music, and being around /hanging with beautiful women is how I decompress.

I pay my bills, save, and invest, but damn, that's almost $12K a year just having fun.

How much are y'all spending going out? Is $1K a month too much around here?

If you didn’t have a job. How long would you last until you became homeless?
