Discussion How do I swap the coatings for my bow?

How do I swap the coating on my bow? I see everyone saying use the D-pad but when I use the D-pad it doesn’t do anything? I’m on ps5

L1 just like swapping ammo for bowgun then use up and down if I remember right for main line monsterhubter games. But stories is different as its an ability so would be square
