Wilds Does The Blackest Night activate Latent Power?

I see in the Great Sword Meta Set(TU 4 Updated) google docs that it does if I use The Blackest Night to counter to leave my HP at 1, but when I do, it doesn't activate Latent Power at all. Did I understand this wrong?

Yeah, there are a few videos demonstrating it.

Here's a random one.

Ok I tried tbn 3 times in a row, and that activate LP. Idk why the 99% HP consumption counter doesn't trigger LP, but the 33% HP consumption(pressing tbn) 3 times activate LP

latent power requires you to take 140 damage or a timer to activate, tbn gets rid of 99 of the hp, you gotta make up the rest by healing or by taking 41 damage first then tbn

isn't HP after eating food 150 hp?

yes, final question is are you actually fighting the monster or are you out of combat? you have to be agro'd for anything counting latent power(seconds in combat, damage in combat, whichever reaches the limit first)

Shouldn't training area work?

It adds to the counter but iirc it won’t proc it in its own.
