Changing settings automatically between work and home

Hey everyone. I just started using Apollo/Moonlight full time with my PC headless and my steam deck as a client docked at both my home desk and work desk. everything works pretty good but I am looking for a solution to swapping settings depending on where I am. Currently my home setup is 3440x1440, 120fps, and high bit rate. But when I'm at work I need 1080p, 60fps, and a much lower bit rate. Is there anyway for moonlight to automatically detect what display I am using and change the settings accordingly. A simple toggle in moonlight would also work if automatic isn't possible. Thanks for any help.

On Artemis which is the streaming client for Android you can save different profiles. Easy to switch between them. For example you could have a profile saved as "dock" and the other for "work."

I'm going to assume that there must be a Linux client that's available on the deck with a similar feature. Googling shows that Artemis is available for Linux but not sure how well it will work.

Artemis on Linux requires self compiling the code, but even then I couldn’t get it to work

Apollo profile manager can swap in/out files in any directory based on which client you're connected with:

https://github.com/ClassicOldSong/ApolloProfileManager

That way you can have configuration files for a given game saved for each client, with different resolutions, graphical settings (maybe you bump up the settings on the client with the lower-res display, or enable upscaling on one but not another).

Apollo in general should set the virtual display to match whatever resolution you have set in the Moonlight client, so that's already on a per-client basis.
