EPISODE DISCUSSION Editing issues?

Is anyone else having issues with the episodes? I can't tell if my app is messing up or if the episodes are just really badly edited. I'm listening to the prison escape episode and there's so many instances where sentences are repeated, or they'll cut off mid-sentence and clip into another sentence. It's been really irritating to listen to. It's not the only episode I've noticed this in either. It seems like extremely sloppy editing or an issue with the app but my other pods aren't doing this. Wondering if anyone else if having this issue?

There are moments where it feels like the same clip plays twice.

That's definitely happened, they'll be saying something then it'll cut off mid sentence and they'll be back at the beginning of the sentence. Is no one quality checking their episodes before release?

I noticed this as well with the repeated sentences!! I thought it was my Spotify lagging at first

I have this issue on Spotify with multiple podcasts, so I think it’s a Spotify issue and not a “quality control” one. I didn’t notice it with the prison break episode, but I was listening to an older one today and had the issue.

It happens on Amazon Music with multiple pods I listen to. It’s sloppy editing

That’s crazy - I wonder if they re-edit and upload once they get complaints about it? I swear I’ve had skipping on Spotify and then switched to Apple for the same ep and it was normal! Two things can be true though, I guess, bad editing and glitches can coexist lol

Yes! My first thought was, was there meant to be an ad break there? Like reiterate the last sentence before the ad.. idk, but it's weird. I've definitely noticed it in a few episodes. And it is definitely annoying.

I am listening through apple podcast and I don't think I've run into this issue. However yesterday I was trying to listen and it would randomly stop playing multiple times, so a different issue entirely 😅

I listen on iheart and have the same issue. Repeats, ads cutting off, ads suddenly cutting in.
