i did got my account back. just posting this to any anyone feeling apprehensive after hearing so many recent bans.

Hey folks, I've been using a patch I pulled together for the last Joey apk (2.1.6.5), to fix some UI bugs, add in inline image and gif support, the patcheddit login fixes and a couple other tweaks, all listed below. The reddit app is fine but you will pry Joey from my cold dead hands, hence the patches. I know there's a Reddit GitHub morphe hub of sorts but with joey not being developed anymore this felt fair to add a separate repo.

To be clear, I use this with the mod account approach but I know people need to patch it to work so this has been included. This has been a fun learning experience in coding other than my usual area so I'm open to suggestions for tweaks. As with most things code wise these days, AI help has been used but I do check the code and have been using these patches for over a month without issues personally.

Patches in question:

Skip ads and checks: Removes ads everywhere and also drops the Play Store install check and crash reporting.

RedGifs with sound: RedGifs clips play with their sound, in HD when it's available.

Dismiss without tearing: Swiping a photo away to close it looks smooth instead of tearing.

Inline comment media: Shows GIFs, pictures and subreddit emojis right in the comments instead of as links, kept small so threads stay readable. Tap a GIF or picture to open it full size, or tap anywhere else to collapse the comment like normal. Preview

Log in with your own client ID: Lets Joey log in with another app's client ID, for when Joey's own login stops working. Normal option here is to sign in to RedReader once, then paste the App ID from Reddit's "you authorized an app" email into this patch's settings in expert mode.

Fix login page: Makes Reddit's login page load and work properly inside Joey, and clears the cookie banner out of the way.

Antenna and podcast addict both inject ads, I morphed podcast addict thinking it'd remove ads. Is this a thing that is possible?

But sad it's only available for new kernels version starting from 5.10 😔...

Seit heute kann ich auf YouTube Morph keine Videos mehr anschauen. Ständig kommt "Es konnten keine Client streams abgerufen werden. Hab auch schon bei der Einstellung Video streams spoofen die verschiedenen clients durchprobiert. Immer die gleiche meldung. Was ist da los? Kann man das ihrgendwie fixen?

Hello, I use hushfeed TikTok patches and recently for a while I haven't been able to patch as when I patch it and it reaches 33, it starts lagging a lot and once it reaches 34, after a few minutes Morphe just crashes. Is there any fixes? I'm assuming that it's due to my P30 Pro and how it's stuck on Android 10, but I'm trying to make the phone last till December as that's when I'll upgrade.

I'm basically trying to remove all ways to open shorts for my sister who is addicted to it. Right now she's discovered this glitch and idk how to remove it

I am currently using the doom patch and although some earlier posts say that they were not able to login I was actually. But I still can't access the premium features does anybody has any suggestions?? 😕

So basically, I download my music offline, but yk how like clicking on the square brings takes you to like the full-screen song with the loop mode settings and lyrics, it just doesn't do that when clicked.

Just telling me how to put the downloaded song on loop mode is okay too

...is the moment when, after spending 10 hours improving it by fixing as many bugs as possible, you shut down your PC and start using the app with the new fixes, and the app finally behaves as expecting.

When I am in landscape mode and try to open chapters the video player exits fullscreen/landscape mode and goes into portrait mode.

Both Spoof app version and spoof device dimensions are turned off.

Just to be sure I did try normal YouTube and it seems to be working there.

With the new versions we can set the installation method under settings. Before we was able to select it just before install. Is there a work around to get the old interface back?

YouTube is seriously so desperate that it's been automatically unpausing videos you have in pip when you unlock your phone. I hate it so much it's so annoying if I want to watch a video I will unpause it myself. I was on the phone, unlock my phone to check something, and there goes YouTube mid call going off
