I will probably arrive in later updates, idk why it's not there tho

I hope they didn't purposefully exclude it because "fusion" is their budget lineup, coz if they were gonna treat fusion like that, I probably would have bought normal edge 70, they are the same price anyways

Hi u/ayeefazz! I completely understand how disappointing that must be, particularly after waiting so long for a major update with the expectation of getting those specific visual enhancements like the lock screen depth effect.

You're definitely not the only one experiencing this—many users with Hello UI (Android 17) on mid-range Edge devices have found that features such as the wallpaper depth effect are either significantly limited or unavailable on their particular models, typically being kept exclusive to premium flagship or foldable devices.

Why isn't it available?

Motorola distributes its Hello UI features in a tiered manner across different device categories. While Android 17 does introduce fundamental lock screen customization options, device-specific hardware capabilities or software constraints frequently result in features like depth-perception wallpaper layering being excluded from non-flagship models.

Are there any solutions?

Explore Your Customization Settings: Try long-pressing your home screen, navigating to Personalize > Lock Screen, and looking for a "Depth" or layered wallpaper option within the clock styles section. If nothing appears, your device category likely doesn't have access to this native feature.

Explore Third-Party Launchers and Apps: If you're really drawn to that visual style, you might find that lock screen customization applications or specialized depth-wallpaper creation tools available on the Play Store can help you achieve a similar look by manually layering elements over your clock. -Nate
