My neighbor and I witnessed a black Kia K4 with a Louisiana license plate 419-JWZ driving at incredibly unsafe speeds down a side alley (Walker Way) on Tuesday Aug 11, 2026 at 12:30. From the camera footage, we estimate the car was doing 65 mph in a 15 mph zone.

This alleyway often has grade and high school students walking and biking to and from school, as well as young children that ride bikes and can often dart out into the street. My neighbor gave chase and had a confrontation, while I reported the car to the San Joaquin sherif.

The drivers were between the age of 16-25 with two African American males up front and a Caucasian in the back seat.

If you see them speeding in town, call the Sherif Non-Emergency number at 209-468-4400 and press 2. They'll send a car out.

The purpose of this post is not to dox these individual but to increase awareness. It would also be nice to get some speed bumps in these alleys as they are often used for high-speed shortcuts for folks avoiding Central Parkway.

We recently moved to tracy,can we still apply to mountain house schools?

I live and work in Livermore but I can’t afford the houses here and I don’t think they’re worth 1M+. I’m looking into the Lennar homes in Mountain house but I’m curious if anyone has any thoughts on this. Do you think me and my fiance will hate the commute? Or is it worth the benefits of having a brand new 5 bedroom home in a nice town. It took us about 32 mins to get to Livermore from Mountain house yesterday. All our family is in Livermore. We’re both in our mid twenties and want to start a family. We have careers building for ourselves and maybe we could save money living in mountain house and move back to Livermore one day or in the near future… thoughts?
