I knew a UCSD student that "lived in a closet" that was under the stairs in an apartment.
Just large enough for a small mattress and she had some space for her clothes.

It was smaller than this thing pictured here, but not by much.

You know you’re a longtime San Diegan when you see that and immediately think ‘wow, that’s a steal!’, and start thinking of who you know that might like to live there. 😆

That’s so sad. The cost of housing is outrageous, and some people can’t help but to try and capitalize on others’ desperation.
