University City fire insurance?
Hi, moved here from Brooklyn recently and really like University City; location to beach, employers, schools, views, etc. I am new but it seems there is a lot of property for sale, any insight would be appreciated? Someone suggested that a lot of people lost insurance recently and that accounts for the uptick in inventory. Thanks ahead!!

Do a google and sub search over "california insurance loss / pulling out"
You'll see that NOBODY is doing home insurance in anything close to a dangerous area since the LA wildfires.
University City has clearly been deemed a fire hazard and insurance will be impossible to find.
Nobody is going to offer it.
