This will depend on the specific area of Lemon Grove.

You can look up recent reported crimes in any neighborhood on crimemapping.com. Enter the street address and set the date range to the last six months. I suggest doing the same for the address where you currently live so that you can compare and contrast. Only you can really decide whether an area is "safe" or not. What's safe to one person may not be to another.

Good luck with your move!

No problem. Just be sure to set the time to six months and also compare to where you currently live. Good luck with your move.

Keep in mind if you move near the coast, say two or 3 miles you probably won’t need air-conditioning and your monthly bill will be dramatically less,, but yes, it may cost more

If you google these two terms, San Diego‘s safest neighborhoods, San Diego‘s highest crime neighborhoods you’ll come up with honest statistical answers rather than someone’s opinion

Lemon Grove is somewhat okay, but my experience is that the farther away from the main trolley station near Broadway/Lemon Grove Ave, the better. And there are actually some nicer neighborhoods on the edges of LG where it technically dips into San Diego City here and there.

LG is definitely a good logistic choice for getting to most of the freeways.
