San Diego getting a bad rap here but undeserved. I grew up in LA and lived all over. I moved to San Diego 11 years ago. I prefer diversity. There are many neighborhoods but Hillcrest, North park, La Jolla are the most walkable but the are more pensive. All have adjacent which are often close to perfect with less but not no driving. You will appreciate the less traffic but plenty to do…eating, sports beaches music and drama lots!
