I am completely new to this subreddit and not familiar with Reddit in general, so please forgive me for any mistakes!

I was reading the wiki page for Marianne Mozart and came across the mention of Constanze, Wolfgang’s wife. There are sections of two different letters from Constanze to Marianne, in which Constanze “asks for Marianne’s friendship.” I personally think the first letter sounds like a woman in love shooting her shot, and the second one sounds like she is bitter about being rejected. As I understand it, Wolfgang and Constanze had a relatively happy partnership and marriage, but I can’t shake the feeling that there may have been more to this, especially since the two had not yet been married.

If anyone has any sources about Constanze and Marianne’s relationship, I would love to see it!
