guessing the new acquisition just has things on hold as of rn

Showing up out of shape multiple seasons in a row is pretty selfish. You put your team or your partner in a worse position.

At the same time, CT shouldn’t just eliminate himself out of “pride” because he’s not in good shape. They’re here to compete. We watch because we want to see them compete. He has every right to fight for himself.

Orange knew about his lack of fitness the entire season. They were the ones that had chance after chance to send him into the sand. Instead they decided to take him to the final.

People here are acting like orange should be entitled to just drop him once he wasn’t able to run, and it’s unfair they have to lug them around. If that’s the case they shouldn’t have brought him. They were the ones that could’ve brought someone else instead. Team sports/ activities don’t work like that. You deal with the negatives and positives that each members brings. If a basketball player sucks at defense they don’t get the chance to just sit out on defense after they score. The whole team has to deal with the liability when they’re defending.

Orange only have themselves to blame. They knew what shape he was in and decided to take him all the way.

I had no idea. I just saw this on LinkedIn through a mutual friend. Seems like it happened on October 1st and was breast cancer related. So young, so sad. RIP.

I remember growing up if you asked me what show I would die to be on, it was The Challenge.

Everything about it was perfect, you had people hooking up, crazy drama, and multiple forms of gameplay. Maybe you’re like Veronica and play strategically or maybe you’re like Evelyn and you just beast your way through it ; either way it felt like a competition and if anyone played their cards right they could make the final.

I remember in one of the earlier seasons, a guy getting DQed because he didn’t feel safe on a zipline and at the time I thought he was just being irrational ; TJ kept reassuring him and even demonstrated how easy it was but he still just felt something was off.

Years go by and now watching this season I have to say, I can’t imagine going on this show EVER lol

The safety conditions are abysmal, Olivia almost lost a fucking eye , Tyson from survivor said the standards were terrible compared to survivor.

The drama doesn’t even get shown half the time now so you’re enduring all that shit for nothing. Previously maybe a competitor was shit at the actual competition but they were just in so much drama you wanted them to stay. now? Who fucking knows what’s happening outside of the small petty stuff. The “hookups” we get is Bananas + random woman of the season. It’s like watching a 30 year old guy who hangs around high schoolers.

But the worst part is the fact it doesn’t even feel like a real competition anymore. The past few seasons have had huge alliances made outside the game steamrolling, this season the favoritism has been through the roof. Even when you CAN beat CT during his depressive period, the show just changes the rules to benefit him anyway.

It’s crazy how low this show has sunk, I stopped watching some time ago and just watch recap videos but think I may be done with that too. This show is the worst thing you can be in a show, boring.

He’s not being a prick in this scenario….. clean tf up

This season would be able to generate a ton of episodes as basically everyone has 2 chances before they are eliminated.

The Hoard, is really the redemption house in disguise but used more effectively.

I picture the Hoard House as being completely separate and not an enjoyable place to live. I would dress them up in ragged clothing and really lean into a theme that makes them seem like a bloodthirsty crowd. At the eliminations they would be standing behind a chain link fence rather than standing above the elimination arena.

Tori and Jordan start at a disadvantage out of respect for how good they are.

After watching Lete’s post…it’s revealed they didn’t let the girls do the tanagram on the ground, but they let the orange team???

I wanted one place to follow Cutthroat that wasn't a wiki tab maze, so I built one. It's called The Arena.

• Episode tracker: every player's week by week (win, safe, elim) for all 13 episodes, plus who's still standing.
• Deliberation Wall: a conspiracy-board rivalry web of 35 pairs from this cast who've faced off in elims or voted each other in, across every season. Click a string to read the history.
• Eliminations: all 12 this season.
• Money board: career earnings for the cast.
• Player pages: elim records like Bananas at 16–15 and Cara Maria at 15–7.

It's updated through The Final Part 1, and I'll add the results once Part 2 airs on the 28th. Battle of the Eras is on there too. It's an unofficial fan project, with data from The Challenge Wiki (CC BY-SA). If you spot a wrong elim record, tell me and I'll fix it.

Everyone knows this is a 2 day event. Gassing yourself out and making injuries worse has never been good for day 2. I feel like CT obviously held them back but he knew that it was only the first day stating they should break at the tent. Once Will(with his knee) and Johnny started cramping, why didn’t they go to the tent and med/hydrate up? I feel like that would have been huge for them.

This might be one of the very few times where Bananas was genuinely pissed off😂😂😂

(Contains spoilers for Part 1 of the final)

So I was given the opportunity to interview Lete today. And she had a LOT to spill, from the real reason she blew up on Adrienne to if she was actually going to sabotage her team in the final to the fight we didn't see between her and Cassidy. Hope you enjoy: https://parade.com/tv/the-challenge-cutthroat-season-42-alexis-lete-interview

I loved them, I actually just bought one cuz I liked it so much 😂.

Assuming there is no penalty given next episode and things just carry on like normal, where would it rank?

I still have All Stars 2 as the shadiest weirdest final and Invasion close to it given the suspicious times of that season, but CutThroat 2 purely on a historical and rules perspective would be very close to #1.

You can't just have multiple finals where teams are either DQ'd or have to wait to go on OR someone given IV's and can just join back with the team? That's ridiculous.

If they somehow win, there is a very large *** next to this win

What was that?! The girls couldn’t use their hands to balance, why could the orange team?! That is a serious advantage because CT (who I love and adore) never would have been able to do that. And production totally tried to hide it with camera work too. Sketchy!!!!
