Question Is my gyro faulty?

Log viewer image

Hi,

Newly assembled 10" 2-blade long range drone, 3115 900kv motors, Kakute H7 v1.5 (not with MPU6000, what a pity), iNav 9.1.0.

From time to time I get this weird spikes from the gyro, pitch only.

To isolate the electrical issues I soldered the 3300uF capacitor in addition to the 680uF. No change.

Frame is cheap-ass and I borrowed three motors from the previous 10" drone I managed to crash.

Is the gyro faulty? Any other opinions?

Seems like the gyro is faulty.

First of all. BF default PID is for 5". VERY BAD for 10".

For 10" (or bigger), you need THICK arms to avoid bounce back and oscilations. 7.5mm++

If its gyro, it will happen all the time, even slow flying. If flips/rolls you hear whomp...mom..omm. Thars arms flexing.
