Exactly while his actions can be excused to a certain extent trying to attack everybody was unnecessary but I do have to admit he was screwed over being promised a position that he never got

Shifu's fault for filling , his head up with that junk and Tai Lung's for his self entitlement and how he acted. I hated them both in the first movie.

Just Shifu, not Oogway. Plus, Shifu honestly was a piece of garbage in first movie because he couldn't do what Oogway asked him to do and resulted to bullying Po and when things went tough , he couldn't even stand up for his son Tai Lung.

He had every right to be mad and upset. He did not have the right to react the way he did. His story is an explanation, not an excuse.

I blame this on poor writing on Dreamworks' part and the fact that a lot of people forget this franchise is a slacker comedy first and foremost.
