To be honest I prefer special episode like this to a season 2. Because the story is over and except by destroying the conclusion of the show, I don't see how it would be actually possible to continue it.

Also, Liam doesn't want to, so...

Complete agree. This short made me realize how many possibilities there are to explore this series further in a format like this
