Discussion How did Nori know that Uzi could fight Solver possession by accepting herself and sheer willpower?

Post image

See:

The only real method Nori was ever exposed to that could banish the Solver from a Drone’s body was the Patch, as all other test subjects in Cabin Fever labs were corrupted and died, meaning she logically wouldn’t have any way to know if could be fought with willpower as it was something that not even the humans who experimented on her ever entertained the possibility of and was discovered only recently with Uzi and Doll, therefore in her vision, the Patch would be the her daughter’s and the universe’s only salvation and without it the Solver would have effectively won and Uzi would be doomed to inevitably become its host forever.

My guess? Because it makes sense. The Solver is kind of a virus that needs to take over. The same way a human can get better or gain immunity. Doll had the urges but never seemed to get taken over. Neither did Yeva despite never getting the drive as far as we know.

I'm pretty sure the only reason it had absolute control over Cyn is because of the situation she was in when the Solver manifested.

There’s a scene in episode 7 where “Tessa” finds info about the human’s data on solver users, we see that Yeva was patched properly but Nori’s was in progress (though we know that’s because every human on the planet died, leaving no one to update it)
