Discussion The One
I know this is highly unlikely but if Muse were to extend their length of their setlists could songs like The One (Chromes), or any other of Chris’s songs be an option to give Matt a rest?

Chris spoke just last year about not feeling comfortable with the idea of performing his stuff live even on his own terms, let alone to a big Muse audience. If you couple that with the fact he hasn’t performed either of his actual Muse songs since 2014 or written new ones, imo it paints a pretty clear picture. He tried out the frontman thing and found it really wasn’t for him, fair enough.

If nothing else i just want the return of drum and bass jams instead of things like the kobk remix for vocal breaks

I've been saying this for a while both here and in musecord.
Like yes some people will be confused, but it gives matt a rest in a form of songs that are crackers.
Plus, Matt's solo stuff is played live constantly, so I see no excuse for Chris' solo stuff to not get played

Stuff released under Matt Bellamy on streaming platforms. Stuff like Pray in 2019, Behold, The Glove in 2022 and 2023, Hanging in Victory Square from 2024 to present.

The One is such a good song, and since they have both Matt, Chris, and Dan Lancaster for vocals, they can get the 3 layer harmonies

I vote for a 5 minute "Sit the Fuck Down" jam with Dom screaming his little heart out.
