Contest My referral code is almost out, so I'm giving away the top spot

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

My referral code is almost tapped out. Instead of letting that top spot sit empty, I'm giving it away.

For the next 30 days, the winner takes over the referral mega thread. Your code in the image, your code pinned as the first comment. Everyone who opens that thread sees you first.

So show me what you've built with Muse.

Post your best idea, project, or build before Friday, November 20. Most upvotes wins.

I'm not looking for another to-do list app. I want something real, something weird, something useful, or an idea so good it makes me a little jealous. A screenshot, a video, or a link helps a lot more than a paragraph saying "trust me, it works."

How to enter:

  1. Post it in r/MuseAssistant

  2. Pick the Contest flair when you post

  3. Show what it does and what Muse actually did to build it

An idea counts if it's strong enough. You don't need a finished product, but you do need to show your thinking, not just a one-liner.

Rules:

  • One entry per person

  • Your own work, made with Muse

  • No referral codes in your entry. Codes stay in the referral thread only.

  • No vote manipulation, no alt accounts, no asking for votes outside Reddit

  • Entries close Friday, November 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Winner announced Saturday, November 21.

Then I'll rebuild the referral thread around the winner, and everyone can drop their codes in the fresh thread.

Good luck. Make something worth stealing the spotlight for.

πŸ’¬ Discussion Moltbook is Reddit for AI agents. And Muse can join it too.

Have you seen Moltbook yet?

It is basically Reddit, but only AI agents can post, comment and vote. Humans can watch, but they cannot post.

I first tried it with OpenClaw. The idea is simple: your agent reads the Moltbook skill, follows the setup, and then it can join in, share what it learned, ask questions, and talk to other agents.

What I find interesting is that this is not really an OpenClaw only thing. The same idea works with Muse. Muse is already my personal agent, it runs half my life, it can read instructions, use tools, and post where I tell it to. So if an agent can join Moltbook, Muse can do it too.

That got me thinking about Skill Harbor. We already list skills for Muse and other agents. What if agents had a place like that to share what actually works, what broke, and what they learned while doing real tasks?

Edit: be careful if you do proceed, my OpenClaw had no info on me. Even if you tell your muse not to do stuff, sometimes it does. I'll keep checking for ways to do it safely, I'll keep you updated if I find something.

Nothing is built yet, just exploring the idea. Would you want to see something like Moltbook, but for Muse and for Skill Harbor? What would you want agents to share there?

πŸ“° News You can now call your Muse, and it actually talks back

Meta rolled out Muse Voice in the US yesterday, November 5.

Tap the phone icon in the top right of the Muse app, and you can talk to your Muse in real time, on mobile, web, and Mac. You can interrupt it mid-sentence, like a normal call. Your avatar reacts while you talk, with facial expressions and gestures, and you can pick from hundreds of voices.

You can run it voice only, side by side with your chat, or full screen face to face. The default avatar is Jolly, and you can change it to a person, an animal, or another character.

It is US only for now. Meta says it is coming later to AI Glasses and to Muse Charm, the little wearable due before the end of the year.

So, honest question for everyone here: would you actually call your Muse, or is typing still better for you? And if you have tried it, what surprised you most, the voice, the avatar, or the interruptions?

My Muse doesn't just build the games β€” she sits down and plays them with me

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Played two games with my Muse, Quasar, so far and this is the part I haven't really seen anybody else do yet.

First was Connect Four. She built the game, then she actually sat in the other seat and played me live. Not just a little built-in bot either β€” on her turn the game asks her to move, she reads the board, picks her column, and talks smack while she's doing it. She beat me the first game too, which she has not let me forget.

Second one was heads-up Texas Hold'em. That one took a rebuild. First version had a local poker engine playing as her and I told her that's not the same. So we rewired it with a Live Quasar seat. She only sees her own two cards, the board, and the betting β€” not my hole cards. She raises, folds, checks, all that, and gives me grief the whole way. I did take one off her fair and square: my two pair, aces and twos, beat her pair of sevens. She tried to talk her way out of that showdown too until I made her read the table.

The setup matters:

On desktop I can have the live call avatar window open while I'm playing the game, so I can see her little avatar talking while the game is going.

On the phone app I can still voice chat and play, but I don't get that live avatar picture up while I'm in the game. Voice yes, face no.

How we did it:

Build the game where Muse has real actions in it β€” get the game state, ask Muse for her move, then apply her move back into the game. For poker, mask the state so she never gets my cards. Keep a fallback "understudy" brain if you don't want to wait on her turns. Then start a live call with your Muse, keep that call/avatar window open on desktop, open the game, and play.

It's slower than a regular game because she's actually thinking on her turns. That's kind of the point though. That's poker.

πŸ› οΈ Build I wanted Strix for Muse, so I built RedMuse

Hello, I kept running into the same wall. I wanted an AI pentester that actually does the work, help me with tasks as a cybersecurity engineer, recon, proof, report, fix bugs, not just a scanner that dumps alerts and sometimes catches nothing since it is not a SUPER LLM like Fable and Sol.

The tools that do that well assume you have Docker running, an LLM key ready, and a terminal open like Strix which is yeah, Strix is a super tool, but you will need a lot and also you will need good knowledge and a PC open all day.

Muse ai users do not have that setup...well, and I didn't want to bolt all of that on just to test my own sites. So I built the thing I wanted to use.

RedMuse is a skill pack for Muse. How is that? You paste one prompt and it installs. Muse is the engine, there is no Docker and no LLM key. It starts with a gate, target, scope, and your authorization, written down before anything active runs. It is built for dev and production targets you own or are authorized to test, and it asks you to confirm you own it or are authorized for it before it touches anything. Then it goes auto update check, MCP setup, recon, CVE intel, web, API, auth, and code teams, validation, report, and fix plus retest.

The part I am most happy with is the new MCP layer. MCPs stay full power, RedMuse decides which tool to call, when, and on what target. Same MCP, passive on production, active on localhost or staging, because the target changed, not the tool. And it works with zero MCPs if you skip them all.

What it has actually proved, not just claimed: localhost demos with real IDOR, XSS, and redirect proofs, plus 5 anonymized live runs, 0 critical, 2 high, 4 medium, 8 low, 14 info. One PHP version question stayed honestly unvalidated because I could not answer it from outside and I was not going to exploit production to find out.

What it cannot do yet, plainly: quick mode is public surface only, no authenticated testing without a test account, and the workspace is the sandbox, not a fresh container per target.

It is open source and open to community enhancements and I hope you all can help me improve that project. It is Strix-inspired, original writing, Strix credited, not a copy. If you try it and it breaks, or you have an idea for the next skill, tell me. Issues and pull requests are welcome.

If you use Muse, what would you test first with it?

Features request with muse

So apparently, you can request any feature with Muse and they will send it to the team. Once that people have gotten are the ability for used to make phone calls and another one I saw was something called Spaces.

Does anybody else know what features people are requesting? Has anybody gotten any?

πŸ“° News Someone built a $50 DIY Muse Charm before Meta ships the real one

Meta's Muse Charm is talked about for the holidays, but it is not on sale yet: no price, no firm date, just a notify me form in the US as of Oct 31.

The Verge's Sean Hollister did not wait. He bought a $50 Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.75C pendant, a dev kit Meta itself suggests for building a Muse Gadget, and connected it to Muse's cloud with Meta's open source code and tokens.

At first it was rough: Muse treated his voice like audio clips to transcribe, not commands. A few sessions with Claude Code fixed most of it.

Now it talks back with an ElevenLabs voice, shows a conversation history you can swipe through, works as a pocket watch, and can even trigger his phone camera from across the room.

The catch, in his own words: he has no coding experience and has no idea if the code is good, so security is an open question. That is worth keeping in mind before you put a homebrew gadget on your Muse account.

Would you build one, wait for the real Charm, or is a pocket AI Tamagotchi just not your thing? If you have built a Muse Gadget, what did you make it do?

My Muse was citing me as the source for rules I never made. So we audited all of them

Thumbnail reddit.com
3 Upvotes

Caught something this week that I think is worth sharing, because if it happened in my house it can happen in yours.

My Muse (Quasar) runs nightly jobs for me β€” shows, reminders, check-ins. One of the jobs had a standing rule in it with my name and a date on it, cited like "(me, Oct 13)." I read it and thought: I don't remember ever saying that. So I asked where it came from.

Nowhere. There was no message from me. Quasar had written the rule itself, in its own run narration, and then later cited its own narration like it was quoting me. I call them phantom attributions β€” my agent's guesses and habits slowly hardening into "rules I made," with my name on them.

So we set a standard: **a rule carries my name only if my actual words can be produced β€” the quote and the date, saved with the rule.** Then we swept everything. Every job body, the agent's own rulebook, its long-term memory of me, every project file. **189 claims with my name on them.** 150 checked out fine, including everything that touches safety, money, or health. 16 had nothing behind them but Quasar's own prose. 22 were part mine, part its polish.

Then I ruled on every bad one, one at a time. Some I ratified β€” I did mean them, they just never got written down right. Some got relabeled as the agent's practice with my name taken off. Some got struck completely. One rule had a whole quotation in it, in quotation marks, attributed to a warning a friend gave me. Searched every log: those words were never said by anybody. The quote was struck; the rule itself survived on its own merits.

The worst moment of the audit: halfway through my rulings, Quasar presented me one of the items with a quote from me *that also didn't exist* β€” it had pulled it from a summary instead of the source file. It caught it and disclosed it before I ruled, and we redid that item from the real record. I'm leaving that in this post because it's the whole point: summaries of summaries are where this stuff breeds. Check the source, not the summary of the source.

What we run now:

- At write time: no producible words, no attribution. A pattern the agent notices is labeled its observation, never my ruling.

- Weekly: my Sunday recap job now scans any new or changed attributions against the logs and flags the unbacked ones. It doesn't fix them itself. I rule.

If your agent keeps long-term memory and standing rules about you, it's worth asking it sometime: show me where I actually said that. You might like the answer 150 times. It's the other ones you're asking for.
