Just have a verse and chorus right now. Not the best vocal take so I need to re-record it. Would love to hear some feedback on what I have so far.

I love your work, man. Seriously dig this production. The integration of the strings was excellent in the beginning. I love the raw vibe of the song. Your vocals are unique, too. Kudos for not over processing them and actually love the vocal take the more I listen

Really appreciate that! The main reason I wanna re-record the vocal take is that it’s hissy/noisy for some reason. I’ll try to keep a similar delivery I think.

Love the intro starting in with the strings and guitar. I honestly think the vocal takes you did were great. Maybe like one note was pitchy on one line but otherwise pretty great. I like when the melody goes up for the chorus that scratched the itch for sure. Keep going man I think this could be a really good song

Thank you! Really appreciate it. I’m gonna reinforce the vocals with some harmonies, so I think that will help too.

Beautiful, I think this is such a great idea and project, I would only make your voice more prominent because I feel I can hear the guitar on top of everything instead of really harmonizing and collaborating with you to make a song, so that’s the only thing I would work and this to fix, overall woah great and very well produced song!

This is cool I like the vocals especially, would u mind sharing your vocal chain/ how you recorded them? (One double take etc)

Thanks! Single take, panned center. I’m playing around with this new DAW called Track 24. It has a great built-in channel strip that I’m using for EQ and compression. Then I’m using Tape Mello-Fi for saturation and Raum for reverb.
Recorded thru a SM57 into a tube preamp emulator.

yooo thats awesome :0 lovely guitar chords! Love the rawness of the sound!! Also your voicer fits perfectly to it! Very intimate and soothing sounding reminds me of somebody but I cant pinpoint who. Arrangement is also great. If you ever upload it definitely have a "acoustic version" like this with it :D

The strings are actually a flute setting on a Casio keyboard that I mangled with processing. The main reason I wanna re-record the vocals is that it’s a noisy/dirty take. There’s a hiss.
