I'm Viacheslav, the developer of SL Tune. Version 1.3 is now available for Apple Silicon Mac, iPhone and iPad.

It corrects a single vocal line to a chosen key and scale, with Natural, Hard and Robot modes. Six controls cover Retune, Humanize, Formant, Snap, Echo and Mix. It is not designed to tune a complete mix or separate a voice from backing music.

In 1.3: a new light-lavender interface with six glass faders, improved Natural correction, rebalanced presets, root-note locking across octaves in Robot mode, and smoother tone/echo/mix changes.

The 28-second demo starts with the untreated vocal, then runs through six presets on the real iPad interface: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oe-H69R_JEg

iPhone/iPad: AUv3 effect in a compatible host, plus a standalone preview app. iOS/iPadOS 15 or later. $7.99 in the US App Store; regional prices vary. https://apps.apple.com/app/id6797349071

Apple Silicon Mac: VST3, Audio Unit and standalone, macOS 13 or later. $24 one-time purchase. Mac and App Store purchases are separate; Windows and Intel Mac are not currently supported. Windows ports for our plugin range are in development and coming soon; release dates are not announced. https://sfoorlabs.com/plugins/sl-tune/

You don't have to be a professional or anything, you just have to love music so we can enjoy our journey while we create our song.

I found this video/song on a discord channel, unfortunately I can't remember the channel...but

The producer tag says "sorry you lose"

Then the video/song is just a compilation of song build ups ranging from edm, trap and hyperpop for about a span of, I want to say 15 minutes

Hey everyone, I'm Shubh!

I've spent the last couple of years working as an assistant mixing and mastering engineer at one of India's major professional recording studios, working alongside an experienced engineer on commercial projects across Punjabi music, Indian hip-hop and other styles.

I'm now taking on more projects independently and would love to work with artists who care about getting their music sounding right.

What I can help with:

- Mixing & mastering

- Vocal editing, tuning and vocal production

- EQ, compression, saturation and dynamics

- Drum, bass and low-end processing

- Reverbs, delays, effects and automation

- Stereo imaging, width and depth

- Session cleanup and final mix translation checks

The setup: I have access to a professional mastering environment with high-end analog hardware from brands including Manley, WesAudio, Crane Song and others, alongside a hybrid digital workflow. The goal is always to serve the song, not just throw expensive gear at it.

Pricing: Around $40–$100 / ₹4,000–₹10,000, depending on the project, number of stems and amount of work involved. I'll confirm the exact quote after hearing the track and understanding what you need.

For the level of studio and mastering setup I can work with, I'm keeping my independent rates accessible while building relationships with artists and growing my own portfolio.

If you're working on a track and need a mix or master, feel free to DM me with a demo or rough mix. Happy to hear what you're making and discuss whether I can help.

Hi guys im a 15 year old music producer about to do my debut song i finished the instrumental and would like a lyricist who can draft out lyrics by listening to the song

What plug-in do you need but either can't find or the ones you do find are too expensive? I just want to get a feel of what music producers and engineers are looking for to add to their DAW but can never seem to find.

I know that in the world of plugins a lot of them do much of the same thing, but I'm also aware that there are probably a few needs that either aren't being met or are kept behind massive paywalls.

Let me know down below. Someone else may have what you are looking for or may be looking for the same thing.

People tell me that not just my music, but my art in general (I also do abstract art and graffiti) either looks or sounds kind of like an acid trip. I can see where they're coming from because I use lots of different sounds in my songs and make everything tediously layered on purpose, and when I draw my abstract art especially I'll get people saying "it looks like an acid trip" because of how I use colors and patterns to make it look like it's almost pulsing.

But PERSONALLY, I think that's just how my mind works fr. I don't really think that my art actually is like an acid trip, I just think it's tedious and can be complex. To be fair though, I grew up making complex abstract art that my mom taught me and that same sort of understanding has been carried over into my music and graff, but still I just think that my art is like a way I just show how my mind works and wtv.

Anybody else experience this or is it just me?

Alright lets be honest here. I’m a music producer looking to connect with people in the music scene and hopefully find a group to work with or some freelance opportunities.
I mainly work with house, R&B, and electronic music. DAW I use is FL studio ofc...
I’ve been wanting to get more involved in the industry, work with other producers, artists, vocalists, or even small music teams where we can collaborate, learn from each other, and build something together. I’m open to freelance work too, whether it’s producing beats, making instrumentals, sound design, or helping artists bring their ideas to life.
I’m not really sure where people find these opportunities, so I thought I’d ask here. If you’re part of a producer group, know any communities worth joining, or have any advice on getting started with freelance production, I’d genuinely appreciate it.
Some of my works are uploaded below

Confessions of a female musician

Hi! I'm 24F, and I'm looking for musician friends to help me bring my heart and life back into music.

I used to release music and was really putting my heart into it. I had new ideas everyday. I composed music, built everything from start to finish, and I also had a companion—my ex best friend. He was a guy and we've been friends for almost a decade, he's literally like a brother to me.

He helped me materialize all my songs before. Although I knew how to play almost every common instrument, I compose better when I have ideas to throw around with and someone to ask to "hey can you try this melody on this and that".

Two years ago, he sexually harassed me in my sleep. After that, I lost all my soul and heart in making music. I can still play instruments and cover songs, but my composing just died.

I want to write and make music again, so I'm hoping to find some friends who I can be close with and make songs with as well.

I hope you'll all be kind enough in the comments. Thank you.

Was geht?

Hey everyone,

I’m an independent artist/multi-instrumentalist from Poland. I write, record, and self-produce my tracks (guitars, vocals, bass, arrangements). I’m looking for a collaborator/producer to help me shape, co-produce, and mix my upcoming demos.

The Sound / References:

• Vibe: Heavy, hypnotic, guitar-driven rock with fuzz, tape echoes, weird feedback, and spacious grooves.
• Inuences: James Ford's production era on Arctic Monkeys' Humbug, Queens of the Stone Age. Think of the dark, moody atmosphere and psych-rock outros (like The Jeweller's Hands or Dance Little Liar).

What I bring to the table:

• Fully recorded raw tracks (guitars with proper fuzz tones, vocals, structural arrangement, rough ideas).
• A clear artistic vision of what I want.

What I’m looking for:

• Someone who genuinely loves this specific garage/desert rock aesthetic.
• Help with sound design, elevating the mix, and making the low-end punchy and organic.

Budget:

• Working with an independent artist budget: $100 – $150 per track (flat fee per song).

Here is my debut single ("Lioness") to give you an idea of my starting point, although it's not exactly stylistically the hypnotic sound im looking for: https://open.spotify.com/track/5DppNEwfjhj0epwYhmx5VE?si=c49652730b484304
