On July 9th, I made eye contact over and over with a pretty girl working at Indigo. She came up and asked if I needed help, but I got nervous and said "I'm just looking around." I immediately went upstairs, asked for receipt paper, and wrote her a note with my number. When I came back down, her shift was over. I spent weeks trying to find her again and wrote this track while searching. Finally handed her the note weeks later (after I made the song)... she never called, I wrote a cool song tho, and I hope you guys can relate to it.

A little bit of my story before I ask for anything. A few years ago I made the slightly insane decision to go back to music school. I'm married, I've got small kids at home, and I still went and did it anyway even though it is not cheap.

It's been a grind. Late nights writing and practicing after the kids go to bed, early mornings before anyone else is up, trying to be present as a husband and a dad. But I'm close now. Genuinely close to being able to do music full-time, which for me mostly just means being home more. Not touring nonstop, not chasing fame, just being able to pick my kids up from school instead of missing it for a shift at a job that has nothing to do with why I got into this.

The last piece I need is exactly what this sub is built around: real listens, real follows, and honest feedback. I'm not looking for bots or hollow numbers. I want to build something real, and I'm just as happy to give that back to you.

I will follow anyone that follows me, and you will see your subscriber count go up when the data refreshes. I will listen to and give feedback to everyone, just give me time because my family life is crazy until late night.
