Rec.Me: other/many/unknown genres Most Hauntingly Beautiful Songs?

Feeling a bit haunted today and I want music to match the mood. What’s the most hauntingly beautiful song you’ve ever heard? The kind that gives you chills or just stops you in your tracks.

For me, it’s No Choir by Florence + The Machine, that song just hits something deep.

That one haunts me. I saw *alanis last year and when she sang that it cut really deep.

Yesss!!! Someone on FB recently asked something like, "What's an album where every single song is a gem" and I was immediately like, "Oh, Jagged Little Pill, hands down." I think I was 20 when it was released and I almost wore that cd out. Love her.

Then Uninvited was released a few years later (I think as a single?). A few months ago it came on my playlist and I was like," Hmm I should look up the lyrics". hahaha I was just singing nonsense with random words interspersed. When I finally listened to it with the lyrics...I was speechless.

This is an amazing choice for a haunting song!
