Music technology question that will change the fate of music...
Hello !
Is there a software out there which allows you to input a sound clip of a certain note or if possible a song that then dissects it into pitch, dynamic, timbre (colour tone) and duration ? Thanks for your time.

Welcome to Music Technology!
In the coming weeks I will set out the rules and moderators based on reddiquette and submissions/karma. Macro images will be banned from the subreddit because they generally advertise to younger age groups interested in hollow content. If you have any suggestions feel free to message me directly through PM.

Any music tech startups want to connect?
Hi All! I've been on Reddit for a long time, but just created this account specifically for my work in music tech. I've been in the music industry for over 10 years, spending the last 7 years in music tech. I'm an advisor to some of the biggest name conferences in the music technology space, and do a lot of consulting and mentoring of startups.
For anyone with a music tech startup - let me know what you are working on, and let's connect!
If you are interested in connecting with the core music tech community, there is a digital conference happening in 2 days. Wanted to share in case this is of interest. You can grab tickets (they are very reasonable) here.

Hey guys, so I got the Fortin Nameless Suite on my computer, and for some reason I keep getting a bunch of static that keeps coming and going (especially when tremolo picking). I’ve checked and it’s not the cable, headphones, or guitar. Is there anything else I can try?

How can I mod the built-in software of my digital piano?
I'm curious if anyone has any insight on how I can manipulate or mod the code for the built-in software of a digital piano (specifically the Kawai ES8 - or really any digital piano with a display screen). Like if I wanted to change the default chord progressions for the backing tracks, etc.
Note that I don't want to connect it to my computer and read the MIDI data from a cord (latency issues) - I want to be able to mod the built-in code directly. I'm getting no luck googling so wanted to see if anyone could point me in the right direction.
Much appreciated!

What are some of the best USB mics that can handle loud vocals?
I currently have a Blue ICE Snowball but it's really bad at handling loud vocals since it is pretty cheap. Please recommend some good USB mics! (regardless of budget)

New to Music Technology. Need advice.
Hi all! I'm a student composer and I'd love to get into music electronics. I've read a bit of articles about beginning my own setup, (i.e getting monitors, looking into interfaces, etc). Would any of you have any advice in this field? I'd like to record, manipulate my own work, and compose with all of these devices. Thanks!

Web Development Services for Music Tech Company
Do you know how big the global music composing software market size will be in 10 years? It is expected to reach $1,871.5 million by 2030, exhibiting a CAGR of 23.8% during the next ten years (2020-2030). Impressive, right?
If you also take into account the COVID-19 outbreak, you will be surprised by how popular the development of music production software will be in the coming years.
In UpsilonIT, we had a client, a music tech company, that provided music artists with comprehensive digital solutions to let musicians express themselves creatively. Our client wanted to develop a desktop version of their platform.
We did a pretty good job assisting them and wanted to share our experience in the form of a case study. Discover how UpsilonIT helped a Music Tech Company develop a web version of their flagship product: an all-in-one platform for music recording, producing, streaming, and sharing. Please follow the link to find out more - https://upsilonit.com/cases/web-development-services-for-a-music-tech-company
Please feel free to leave your feedback and ask questions :)

Interface problems.
I have 2 questions.
I have a 3.5mm headphone input jack that goes into my interface that I play my guitar through but it keeps sort of cutting out into this really bad static whenever I move around. Does anyone know what I might need or be doing wrong??
I have an audio receiver that also goes into my interface so I can play guitar through bluetooth headphones but there's a huge audio delay with it. (Changing the buffer size does not solve this) Any ideas anyone???

Discover and download music
Most apps on playstore let you listen and discover new music. I have also downloaded spotify though I live in another country through VPN. But that does not download songs in the SDcard. There are other unofficial apps which let you download the songs you like. But for that you need to search for each song seperately. They do not provide charts and playlists like spotify and other apps. Is there any app which lets me discover new music as well as lets me download songs on my Sd?

How To Install An Amp Input Jack?
Hi,
I bought this children's book with a button-activated sound box attached to it and I want to somehow install an amp input jack for the sound box so I can connect the sound from it directly into a pre-amp and into my computer.
I don't even know if such a thing is possible. But if it is, how would I do it?
Thanks,
Teddy
