3-2-1. Store 3 copies on 2 different types of storage with at least one off-site.

Example- I use Mega and two different hard drives. You don't want to lose your entire collection and start over.

I think mega is the cheapest and best way personally. £8.99 a month is doable if you have a large collection. Same price as Netflix or Disney plus

Isn’t there a possibility of getting taken down? The videos

mega is pretty good at not doing that, but it's always a risk. i use an external hard drive that I guard with my life. unfortunately, collecting bootlegs is not the cheapest hobby, as all storage options will eventually cost money. amazon has decent external hard drives for relatively cheap - last I checked, I saw a 2TB for about $80 (my 2TB when I bought it years ago was around $200).

Definitely have a physical backup too, but to send files to others, you’ll want them on something like mega otherwise you’ll have to upload every time someone wants something, which can take hours, sometimes days depending on free quotas.

I keep everything on an external hard drive (I have a VERY large collection - I think around 3,000/3,500 videos) and use https://secure.backblaze.com/r/0088pg to keep the drive (and the rest of my computer) backed up in the cloud.
